Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

Should be taken with a grain of salt, but it sounds like they are doing the battle of the Blackwater the right way (Martin is writing the ep. It is known).

Details. Create throwaway account if you must.

A burning shore, littered with dismembered corpses. Men being thrown from siege ladders. Battering rams. Flaming arrows. Screams, blood, smoke. Some excellent special effects amputations. Banners fluttering in the wind. Hundreds of soldiers rushing the Mud Gate. A cavalry charge. The Hound and the Half-man. Steel ringing off steel. Real injuries. A surprise appearance that differs from the books. Men on fire. Blood and mud and viscera everywhere.
And all this before post-production and vfx. It's going to look incredible
.

It's nice here with a view of the trees
Eating with a spoon?
They don't give you knives?
'Spect you watch those trees
Blowing in the breeze
We want to see you lead a normal life

What would have happened had Tyrion not been captured by Cat at the Inn and he was able to make it to King's Landing?

QuoteNed: I hereby arrest you for sending an assassin against my son!
Tyrion: What? No. Why would I do that?
Ned: Here's your dagger as proof!
Tyrion: Not mine!
Ned: Littlefinger says you won it from him in a bet.
Tyrion: Nah, didn't happen.
Robert: Let's see that knife, hey, it's one of mine! It never belonged to Littlefinger!
Everyone: What the Chuck, Littlefinger?
Littlefinger: It was a pun! No! A palindrome! Can't you guys take a joke?
Ilyn Payne: ...
I would describe Tywin's demise as being memorable as opposed to being "spectacular"   ;)
