I did see a tie down. In the middle under Lola I saw a strap something, at the end when Coulson is cheking on Lola.
Maybe it's a new fangled system. 

The float thing did work!  Didn't you see it saved Agent Ward.

ABC's Agents of SHIELD has earned the unfortunate bragging rights to the biggest drop-off from its premiere of any new show this season. Last week's big scripted launch, which bested a four-year ratings record for a drama premiere, fell a significant 33 percent on Tuesday night.

Someone said it was pretty much your generic cop/action show sprinkled with a few comic book references. I can't say I disagree with that. It's a cute show and I'm willing to give it time to grow but I'd not miss it if they canceled it next week. Between say Arrow and SHIELD, Arrow is a much better show. When they take into account DVRing and people watching it in the next few days, the numbers will increase. ABC/Marvel has a lot invested in this show and unless it really starts tanking, they will keep pumping it up and stick with it.

A lot of people have said Arrow is good. I guess I will have to buy the Season 1 DVD. Since so many of my shows
have been canceled I need replacement DVD's. I wish they had given King and Maxwell a chance. I'm sure they will
give this a chance but Joss is not getting a good reputation recently with his TV series. He should have revived Firefly,
I bet it would have done better but too many of our cast members are gone.  How ironic that our oldest member who
I would have thought might not have been able to be with the cast for the long term is still doing well and shows up
on this show. Firefly could have lasted a long time with it's original cast.

Arrow isn't perfect, the main character has always been a huge social liberal, going after the greedy corrupt evil money grubbers and that carries over in the show as well to an extent. But I liked it more than I thought I would. It is definitely better than SHIELD in my opinion and if you are into the whole action-adventure superhero stuff, worth watching.

Did they not renew Maxwell and King? It was better than the Close spinoff. I couldn't stand the bratty little kid, that ruined that show.

Okay, maybe I should see if I can watch an episode on demand to see if I would like Arrow.
I've heard Major Crimes isn't that great and yet it did better than King & Maxwell. I was really
bummed. I really enjoyed it and thought it had a lot of potential.

I have a feeling the Shield and I will part ways early but I will give it a chance since I'm
frankly running out of things I like to watch.
