Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

Agree to disagree.

Good.

  :)

I agree with you Rosie. Something was going on with the selling of the show that wasn''t there. Showing it out of
order was the biggy. All the ads and trailers I saw before the show aired were from the pilot. To have that not shown
when anyone watching was expecting it was a killer for many.  I almost gave up on it myself with the first couple of
shows. By the time it got it's legs it had lost everyone except the hardcore fans and there was not enough time left
to get them back. Someone at the top didn't like it from the beginning, figured out how to kill it off real quick without
having to spend any more money on it. If the pilot had aired first I think we would have been looking at a whole different
outcome. That pilot was a perfect set up for the series.

I never watched FF on TV because the promos made it look STUPID. I have a promo on tape of Wash saying "Oh my God, what can it be? We're all doomed! Who's flying this thing?" from Bushwhacked, episode 3. I didn't even care that it was a Whedon show and I watched Buffy and Angel religiously.

That aside, you're watching the show live and the gorgeous opening credits have naked Summer Glau in a box and you don't know why. Who got screwed? (audience)

Why weren't the credits recut? Were they a "screw you" to Fox? From Fox to Mutant Enemy? I'm not saying they shouldn't have shown footage from Serenity in the credits, but it just....stinks.

We are definitely  :deadhorse: .   But personally, I still believe Firefly will be rebooted.

Think so?  On Facebook some of us made suggestions for a new cast.  I think mine was this guy for a new Mal:

Joss and company created a universe rich with story telling opportunities. It'd be a shame if something else didn't rise from the ashes of FF/Serenity.
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

If tptb decide to enter the FF universe again, I kind of want something new. In my eyes, it doesn't have to be about the FF crew.

It was a decent premiere. Definitely a Joss show.

Yeah it was decent...I didn't like some of the dialogue but the mystery behind Coulson's return is intriguing!!!!!!

It's seems "Tahiti" may not be all beaches and bikinis.

"Heroes" and "The 4400" both came to mind with this show.

Otherwise, my feelings are summed-up pretty well with almost every word of this song:
