Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

I wanted to do something similar to what Tabin said...lol...cuz that room was FULL of Browncoats! heh.

When we were at the Paley center thingy, I told one of the young creator guys that last year at Comic Con, I did ONLY come for Adam...since I didn't know any of the other actors, and I knew I'd watch the show anyway, there was no reason for me to sit through the panel without him there. *there was talk that he MIGHT show up*. When it was clear he wasn't coming, I got up to leave, only to have the lights go down and have us 'forced' to watch the entire pilot! Oh my! How fun it was to see such a good show....I told this really nice young man, that, even though it was Adam that brought me to the show, it was the combined efforts of ALL of them that kept me watching. I would have liked to have somehow conveyed that to the group.

I agree, the rest of the cast is what is bringing me back too. It has turned out to be a really fun show and I think Adam
realizes to that the rest of the cast deserve just as much recognition so it probably embarrassed him just a little he got
so much attention. Which is nice to see since many actors with healthy egos have a tendency to think that is their due.
I got a kick out of the very surprised look the producers and writer had. Almost like "Hey what do we have here". I thought
to myself, "You mean you honestly didn't know".

He has met you before hasn't he?

Yes, but I don't know if he recognizes me.  I never really had a lot of face time with him.  But on two occassions, he called me "rational".  Weird compliment really, but cool because it's from him.

I definitely agree that a lot of fans followed Adam to Chuck - but the show itself and the cast as a whole is what kept people around.  You can just tell from watching that the cast is having fun with each other.

I think Adam is probably very good with faces and he definitely remembers you from when you interacted on the
board hence the rational comment.  :)

Yes, the fans of Chuck are there now for everyone which I think is why the cast as a whole may have been a little
surprised still for the response Adam got. I watched the vid of the panel on the Chuck site and saw the faces of Ryan
and Sarah who plays Ellie and they both had their mouths open when everyone exploded.

I also watched another vid on that site of Zach doing interviews with the cast after the panel and when Sarah aka Ellie
said that she felt the love in the audience and that they really really love Adam. Zach made the comment that yes
they did, maybe too much. That made me do a hmmm. I hope the others aren't jealous, since Zach is the star of the
show and since the show became popular enough to bring back I'm sure he feels that popularity is mostly due to him
but like Firefly this show is popular because of everyone on it.  :)

I was just over at the Chuck board on NBC. Hate those kind of formats. They are awful for discussion groups but I
guess I've been spoiled. Noticed that everytime someone wants to start a thread it has to be run by the moderator.
Really controls things. Universal Firefly board is just the same. Ugh!

I also noticed on the Bones board that they too are very tightly controlled by a moderator. Since Fox boards, I thought,
were more lenient I was surprised by this. I guess the OB was a really special place or maybe other boards are more
tightly controlled because they don't want it to be an OB.

I could see Adam enjoying getting into discussions on a Chuck board but not with the format they have and probably
not with the type of people they have either except of course he would draw the type of people needed.

Just going around to the various boards and reading some of them is sad. We had something very wonderful once upon
a time but  all good things come to an end.  :(

That's what guys always say
It's nice here with a view of the trees
Eating with a spoon?
They don't give you knives?
'Spect you watch those trees
Blowing in the breeze
We want to see you lead a normal life

We could celebrate by having a commemorative Firefly watching party, IN ORDER, but starting on the 6th anniversary of the premiere date. Holy moley, it has been THAT long!
