Another fangurl squee from me!

Last year was awesome! On the vid footage of the panel, you can see me, Rosie, Jessi, Gingi and a few others with us. It was a blast. I hope Adam shows this year, even though, to be honest, I'd attend this panel even if he wasn't there.

Last year~ you can see us at :16 and 2:22 (it sweeps across and you can see me, Rosie and Gingi, then Jessi in her "Badger" very fine hat!).

Watched the Chuck panel and was struck at how shy Adam acted in some of it. I know he was trying to play down
some of the fan response to him but he seemed a little too introverted.  :)

We only got to walk with AB for maybe five minutes, but he seemed like a very down-to-earth guy.

I agree which is why his persona on the Chuck panel surprised me. His interactions with the Firefly cast seemed to be much more natural
than with the Chuck cast. These seem to be more on the line of people he works with and Firefly seemed to be best buds. He looked great
though and appears to enjoy where he is at this time in his life.  :)

Pearl@32

He is quite humble and a bit quiet-spoken, except when provoked or egged on, or imbibed the alcohol prolly.  :spitdrink:

He is a TALL, stocky guy. I mean next to me, he is like a giant.  Maybe he prefers to speak softly and carry a big stick, or come prepared with armed barbs.

I am so grateful some of our FF folks have found steady work. Too bad it can't be FF that's the work, but at least we had it.

/haven't watched panel yet

Were you at Comic Con, or did you watch the panel via video? If you did see a vid, where?

I'm still so exhausted from our trip...

Glad to see you back. I figured you were tired. No, I watched the vid of the panel on the NBC Chuck site. Adam got
a well deserved response from Fans which for some reason seemed to surprise some at the panel. He tried to play
it down a little by acting embarrassed and a  bit bashful which made me smile. He knows he is better known than
those up there and it looked like he was trying not to out shine them and of course the fans gave him their usual
warm welcome.

I'm used to seeing him on the Firefly panels when he acts like one of the gang and is more gruff and sarcastic and
plays with the others. He was very spiffed up on the Chuck panel in his white shirt and looked good and happy. I
think they said his son was in the audience so maybe that had something to do with it.  :)

AB did get teased a lot for being the audience favorite.  What I really wanted to do was go up and ask a question with my Fighting Elves shirt and Jayne hat on my head.... then ask a question to Zach and Josh Gomez.  Alas, I was chicken.

Oh, you should have. Adam would have gotten a kick out of it. He has met you before hasn't he?  Yes, definitely an
audience favorite and I was surprised some on the panel seemed surprised by that. I know Zach is aware of it and
wasn't surprised. I just thought it was amusing that Adam seemed shy about it. It appears that he tries to play down
his fame to the rest of the cast and gets a little embarrassed when it crops up. He knew that it was Firefly fans that
gave him that response and maybe the cast realized that the real draw to Chuck was him from his former fans.

Saxon

I wanted to do something similar to what Tabin said...lol...cuz that room was FULL of Browncoats! heh.

When we were at the Paley center thingy, I told one of the young creator guys that last year at Comic Con, I did ONLY come for Adam...since I didn't know any of the other actors, and I knew I'd watch the show anyway, there was no reason for me to sit through the panel without him there. *there was talk that he MIGHT show up*. When it was clear he wasn't coming, I got up to leave, only to have the lights go down and have us 'forced' to watch the entire pilot! Oh my! How fun it was to see such a good show....I told this really nice young man, that, even though it was Adam that brought me to the show, it was the combined efforts of ALL of them that kept me watching. I would have liked to have somehow conveyed that to the group.
