Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

I know that .

But what is he doing ?

Was the blocker supposed to be a receiver ?

Was there another guy cropped out of the frame ?

Did some some guy with a squashed nose visit his mother ?

I think he wanted to get it to #11, who was clearly facing him as the the trophy was thrown, but #11 probably thought he was going to run it and turned to block for him and the 'Bama dude said TY very much, sir!
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

LSUFreak makes killer gifs in this part of country. perhaps his best:

I'm sorry , what the hell is #9 doing ?

???

In the play, the LSU QB was (poorly) executing a shuffle pass to #11, who thought #9 was going to run with the ball and he was going to block for him.

Bobby Herbert doesn't have to worry about Les Miles blowing him off from any more pressers... Hebert's press credentials have been pulled by LSU.

Spooky, what's the word on Doug Nussmeier? ESPN says he's on the short list (of three) to be Alabama's OC.

I think he's done a good job while at Washington as QB coach and O Coordinator. He's had two pretty good QB's in Jake Locker and Keith Price and has been able to tailor the offence to their abilities. He's part of the staff that has turned an 0-12 program into a program that has gone to bowl games the last two years.

His current QB, Keith Price, ended the year as the #8 ranked QB in the country as a sophomore and Nussmeier was able to help the Huskies to 7 wins despite the team having the 94th ranked defense. If this team had any semblance of a defense the offence would have had more touches and easily been in the top ten ranked O's IMHO.

I hope he decides to stay here.  :neener:
