Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

I'm gonna have to watch this again as I found it to be kinda boring .

And Ellen's a farking bitch .
It's nice here with a view of the trees
Eating with a spoon?
They don't give you knives?
'Spect you watch those trees
Blowing in the breeze
We want to see you lead a normal life

It was definitely a letdown after the past few episodes, but it served to underscore just how human the Final Five are, especially Ellen.

Thought it interesting that as soon as Liam died, Anders's brain activity started up again. Hmm...

The part where Col. Tighe said that cylons and humans just weren't working successfully as separate groups but are stronger together is still making me roll my eyes.

The humans seemed to be doing fine before the attack on the colonies, methinx?

Tyrel's voting to jump was a WTF? moment .

I missed the bit where Liam might have leaked into Anders' brain .

Definately need a re-watch , but with five eps to go this was a disappointment .

I wonder Tyrol's decision to jump was a result of Adama's continued reluctance to use the Cylon solution to the hull problems.  He doesn't seem to be rejecting the humans as much as he seems to be rejected by them (Cally/Adama/etc.)  I'll be interested to see how the Boomer situation works out.

Ellen's about-face with her decision once the baby was in jeopardy was odd.  On the one hand, if she really never intended to leave, that means that the two of the final five who actually remember realize the importance of staying with the humans.  And she's a manipulative bitch.  If she was just trying to appease Tigh and Caprica, well, that seems a little too nice for our Ellen.

She really seemed quite different this week.  I suppose Saul really is her achilles heel.

The thing I truly loved about this episode was the Tigh/Adama interaction.  Forget Hera, the friendship that they have managed to maintain is the REAL hope for humanity/cylon survival.

Made me think that a true Cylon baby is like a resurrection ship. If one is born, one has to die.
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

i went to sleep halfway through... i guess i'll watch the rest online, but not very enthusiastically...

Agreed.  Kinda ticked me off that they killed off Caprica's baby.  Oh, and Anders was basically brain-dead one minute and awake and talking the next?  I guess it's a good thing he's a cylon, cause once a human is brain dead that's it, there is no coming back.

I must have been half asleep my own self on this.

Saul wanted to name his son Liam.

Short for William.

As in William Adama.

Duh.

Is Liam seriously short for William??  I'm assuming that's in Ireland, cause in the US, Bill is short for William.  Just sayin'.....

(Liam Neeson......Yummy!)
