Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

The Fark thread is chock full of experts on the subject who do not mind sharing their opinions.  Lots of Glee hate in that thread.

I was there
I'm not a Glee guy but I have to admit the show was pretty spiffy
Might start
( I really liked the skank-leader and buddy's older "brother from a mother of a different colour" )

:D
It's nice here with a view of the trees
Eating with a spoon?
They don't give you knives?
'Spect you watch those trees
Blowing in the breeze
We want to see you lead a normal life

The RAR files for the torrent I downloaded were named gay.411.720p-dimension::)
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

Dimension gets cute with their file names; Supernatural is usually something like supergaybrothers and Arrow was unnaceptablesmallvillesubstitute until it turned out that Arrow is actually better than Smallville was.

This is where I have to post text.

OMIGOSH!! You got some good shots! Everyone is posting stuff, I even snapped pix off the tv with my phone just to have them. People much more tech savvy that me got better tho.

Thanks everyone for watching. She's on Cloud 9. She started a 'fan' Facebook page (per her managers instruction), and is putting up pix she took during the rehearsal day and the filming day. Oh, and the screening yesterday afternoon. Maybe I'm just a silly mom, but the lead guy, "Adam", who Jessi said is straight, British and DREAMY, sure does like to hug my baby!! hehe. *at least in the two pix she posted.

Here is the facebook info:

I'm gonna snag these pix to give her, k?

She was shakin' her butt!  O0

Little Ewok went and all done growed up!  :'(

And, I know you're not supposed to but I was a foot away from our smaller TV so I wouldn't miss anything.

LOL!!

I felt like the mom on "That Thing You Do", when she's all excited that her son is on tv, and she's telling everyone to be quiet, but she's the one squealing the most!!

http://kotaku.com/5978894/watch-the-glee-cast-perform-the-arrangement-they-ripped-off-from-jonathan-coulton

I wonder how all the rights stuff works when what Glee produced resembles an arrangement of a song performed by someone who was not the original artist? Does Anthony "Sir Mix-A-Lot" Ray and/or the label who produced his song own the rights or does Jonathan Coulton and/or the label who produced his version of Sir Mix-A-Lot's song own the rights? Fox TV surely had permission to use the song and I would not doubt they get permission or pay for the right to use every song on the show, but does that give them the right to copy any arrangement that's been done for that song?

I have a feeling, from what I've been reading, that Fox is within their legal rights. I have a feeling that Jonathan Coulton didn't buy/secure the rights in a way that keeps others from using his version. All this song stealing talk was making it hard for me to share Jessi's achievement, cuz it appears that Mr. Coulton has a bit of a Browncoat following. He might not be as upset as his fans are, since, in reading all the comments on the video of the "Apple's" performance, the majority of people didn't know that Fox had not created that arrangement. So, as Fox said, it is giving him more exposure. If he's owed money, I hope he gets his due. But it sounds like he didn't secure HIS rights to the song in the way he worked it.

Fox is making a kajillion (give or take) off this show and they shouldn't be total dicks and throw some cash to the guy. I was prepared to say the songs were probably somewhat similar... until I heard the clips. Fox straight up stole this guy's schtick, whether he secured the rights or not. Fox can buy a lot of good will or buy a lot of ill. Their choice.

That having been said, I know you were about to bust with pride. I'll admit I never thought the Mohawk was anything remotely attractive but after seeing her in motion, it works. Glad she got some exposure (well-deserved) and hope it continues. I was more than glad to post the pics and I hope all enjoy them.

Thanks Tink, I'd never heard of this guy, and we all know about how the 'Alliance' can treat the little guy. Poor 11th Hour got in their sights. It just bothered me that a lot of people are being mean to the 'Apples' in their rants. These young people didn't steal the guy's stuff. Fox did. And if Fox's purple belly actions get people mad at my kid, it's on!! :veryangry:

How sad is it that I have this ember of anger toward Fox to this day, traumatized me I guess.

I am not a fan of Glee. I stopped watching after I went to a panel at ComicCon and Ryan Murphy was talking all snooty and was very obviously pushing his gay agenda. Instead of honestly trying to show kids being kids, with a wide range of personalities, he turned them all into sluts and even turned the slut gay. The little airhead blonde should be riddled with the pox by now.

That said, I am thrilled that Jessi is having fun, entertaining, and making money. If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life. I hope that everyone who watched and loved the newbies will drop a note to Fox and let 'em know. And if them making a show of some kind of compensation to this songster will take the negativity away from these innocent actors, then they should get on it!  :soapbox:

Saxon

About the Mohawk, and the 'attractiveness' of it/person with it...Jessi has striking features and a personality to match. She says, she's got a great shaped dome! lol.

In case some don't do the Facebook thing:

Glee fans seem to be very rabid!! Jessi was so excited that one already made this:
