Volleyball

I know there aren't many Texans around here, but if you happen to get Time Warner Cable's Texas Channel, my niece's HS volleyball team (Coppell Cowgirls) is playing on there tonight at 7pm Central.  She just signed to play with Ole Miss next year, and I am so proud of her!

Six girls on that team are 6' and taller? I think we may have had one girl that was 5'11'' on my old HS's girls VB team.

I'm 5'11 and I feel like a midget when I go to tournaments.  I don't know what they're feeding girls these days, but dang!

  Your niece is very pretty. Heck, the whole team is and my goodness look at all that beautiful hair.  My
granddaughter is 6'. She is 14.  It boggles the mind how tall girls are getting but she came by it naturally
with a 5'11" mother and 6'2" father and a 6'4" grandfather.  TX and OK gals can be very tall.

Her mom is the runt of the family at 5'7.  Our other sister is 5'9, our mom is 5'11, dad 6'1 and my brother-in-law is 6'3.  He's half Korean and even his mother was apparently very tall for being Korean, though I remember her as seeming short compared to our side of the family.

Laura has always been much taller than her classmates.  Now doesn't stand out as much, but just because she hangs out with such tall girls!

  That is very tall for Koreans.  My granddaughter like her Mother was always taller than her classmates too.
Fortunately both of them like being tall. My granddaughter loves volleyball too which is nice for girls this age
and height. Gives them a sport they can excel at without the pressure basketball puts on them.
