Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

I have finally caught up on seasons five and six. Showtime finally put all the seasons up on demand. The stupid thing is they show an ad at the beginning of every episode for the new seasons of Homeland and Dexter,
complete with the final scene of Deb seeing Dexter. Way to go, SHO.
S5 was pretty interesting
to see Dexter have a partner. The camp scene with Deb was intense. I really liked her character with all the lack of emotion of killing that thug and then full of emotion about the Barrel Girls. They write her smart and it's enjoyable, even into S6 with the "feelings" for Dexter. LaGuerta was pissing me off most of the time; unfortunately I had watched S6 before S5 so I knew she became a total political cop and alone. Harry was annoying too. I have NO idea how they are going to handle Dexter's big unintentional reveal to Deb. They are slated for two more seasons so we'll see if this is going to crush Deb. I wondered if Dexter could change during the S5 finale, but that last shot of him smiling in the camera says no.
Those ads they scroll across the bottom of the screen drive me nuts. They are getting
bigger and bigger and take half the screen and they leave them on way too long. Another
reason to buy the DVD I guess.

If Ann didn't insist on having cable so she could watch people trade houses and redecorate them, I'd drop cable and just wait an hour or two for stuff to fall off the internet. As is, we watch 99% of our stuff off of a media player and not cable. Usually you don't even get the popups that take up a third of the screen or station identifiers or anything annoying. Aside from ESPN, I'd not miss cable one whit.

S7 got off to a good start. Everything is out on the table (literally).

Don't worry, they still have 11 hours to ruin everything.

Eating with a spoon?
They don't give you knives?
'Spect you watch those trees
Blowing in the breeze
We want to see you lead a normal life
