he is aging quickly.

I think he is not taking care of himself in any way that is why he is aging. He needs more exercise and some sort of facial moisturizing routine. He needs to be more proactive. I don't think Castle would let himself go.

I think he is just not vain and so he isn't thinking about that part. He is working hard as the lead and probably just plops down to play viedo games when he isn't out socializing.

  Nathan unfortunately has inherited the genetic problem of bags under his eyes that get worse with age. One
eye I noticed is worse than the other.  It gives him a tired and hangdog look unless he smiles which then changes
everything. Since many of his scenes are serious the tired look is pretty prominent. I don't know if there is
anything other than surgery that he can do about the bags but it would help.  He has also gained weight which
shows in his face and has made it a little more florid and puffy.  Still a good looking guy but I do think he looks
older than 40.
