Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

There should be a show about law school.

So Chuck is balanced on a knife's edge because of a Lawyer show ?

But this is different!
This is a David Kelley lawyer show. You know, L.A. Law, Ally McBeal, The Practice, Boston Legal, Boston Public. These lawyers are hip, young, and snarky. Plus they really care about justice. ;)

I never really watched , but I did find this lawyer to be kinda pretty

Too small , too skinny , bobblehead to boot .

Still .........
It's nice here with a view of the trees
Eating with a spoon?
They don't give you knives?
'Spect you watch those trees
Blowing in the breeze
We want to see you lead a normal life

Nikki Finke updates the backroom dealing on the renewal of Chuck:

"3RD UPDATE: I've learned why announcements regarding the renewal fates of Chuck and My Name Is Earl have been delayed. And it involves more horsetrading than the Triple Crown. My sources tell me that NBC lowballed the Earl license fee, and the show's owner, Twentieth Century Fox, came back with a proposal which NBC has been sitting on for a few days. As for Chuck, this gets complicated. Turns out NBC didn't like David E Kelley's Warner Bros pilot Legally Mad. Problem is, there's a $2 million penalty that gets paid to WB if the network doesn't pick up the show. So NBC is hoping to work a deal tying the renewal of Chuck, which is also a WB show, to a pass on paying that Legally Mad penalty."

Bottom line, there is still hope.

So Chuck is balanced on a knife's edge because of a Lawyer show ?
God knows there aren't any of those on right now .

:P

( hey , how about a Crime fighting lawyer who works in the ER of a CSI Unit ? )

Sounds like NBC may be playing with fire here and doing a little blackmail. With all the publicity Chuck has
received lately WB may be in a position to shop it and NBC may be the loser. What happened or maybe they
never did have creativity or maybe there are just too many in this country that constantly like the same ole
same ole but WHY is it the same type of show over and over? Everytime something different comes on it goes
poof quickly. Really sad.

They did a really good one back in the day: The Paper Chase!
