If they don't introduce him this season, and I don't think that part was cast, I don't know any logical point to bring him in. He's is a great character, but not so important to the TV story would suffer a lot by not having him in the show. They can easily write around him. I hope they don't, but he may be a victim of the accountants.

ETA: Spoilers if you have read A Clash of Kings

I just did some checking and Selmy doesn't look to be in the show this season either. Hmmmm. Maybe they will have them both come in at some point next season? I dearly hope they don't write Selmy out. I'd like to have them both, but Selmy is the more important character as far as the story goes. He is Dany's Sword/right hand and link to the west after Jeor Jorah gets dismissed by her.
