Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

She was an amazing, talented lady that was at the height of her caeer after a lot of struggles and a simple upbringing.

Her dad, who had a recording studio allowed her and her brother Lupillo Rivera, also a famous singer, to record only when he had no one recording in studio. that is how they got their start.

Very sad she died. Mom suspects foulplay because she had a pending divorce.
She had 5 kids ranging from 23 - 7 yrs of age.

She had a concert and was flying back to appear as a judge on a American Idol type show. Never made it.

I am very upset because the OC Register basically wrote a little blurb on the front page and a tiny article on page 2.

Jenni Rivera was the first female mexican artist to fill the Staple Center, where the Lakers play.

I never claim racism as a reason for people doing things. I would rather believe it was simple ignorance.

BUT REALLY THIS IS JUST DROPPING THE BALL.

The front page story is about a new center poised to open!!! Just @$%@.

Spooky

And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.
