Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

Does anyone know if the Adam is going to be at Comic Con? I know that is the worse place to try to say 'hi' to any of the folks (that place is a mad house), but it would be shiny to see him again. Last March at the Paley was awesome...he looked down the row of seats, spotted me and Jessi and threw us a kiss...even only seeing once every year or so he's still as sweet as ever.

Last year at Comic Con the rest of the crew was great. I knew I was going to like the show regardless. Adam just adds to the fun.

I am sad (but happy for him) that he cancelled Shore Leave here in Baltimore (Hunt Valley, MD really). Man's gotta work. Jewel's been added though, and Mark Sheppard and his dad will be there.

You should seen the response Eric got from him when we visited him on the Walk of Fame at Dragon*Con in 2005. He came from around the table and gave him a big hug, and then asked if we wanted to come back to walk with him to the Serenity panel. Eric asked him how he puts up with the libs, and he just looked at E with an exasperated "OMG" expression and strangulation charade.

I am so happy he is on a good show that is surviving. Casey is like a James Bond Jayne.

I know exactly how he treated Eric, cuz I've seen him with other of us 'old timers' from the early days of the board. He's seriously treating us, the way we treat each other! That's just another reason why I get so very sad when I think of the old days and miss them so much, on the board and off.

It's true, but, no crying!  :lala:

ETA: The fact that FF has diminshed weighs heavily on me sometimes. I need to pick up that Better Days comic!!

I have it, but haven't even opened the package from TFAW yet...
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

I still haven't gotten the comics. Think that'll help?

Pearl@32

I have no idea if it would help, but it sounds like a job-gone-good, so might be shiny.

It is just so difficult to watch FF.

Be honest: if you're channel surfing and there's a show or movie that you know Adam is in it, do you wait till he shows up?

Of course. Sometimes I can't change it once I know Adam is in it. I watched Gargantua recently. I really just like listening to the sound of his voice.

I am notorious for just leaving the TV on when I'm home alone...I'll be watching something, it ends and I just get up and come in here to the computer.

The other day I heard *that voice*...I jumped up to go see what he was on...it was the ep of Stargate he was on, where he and a team are walking and betting on what they will find, and he's talking about having kids. I loved that. He just sounds like he's walking and talking with the guys. So natural. Miss him.
