  I got a kick out of all the Firefly references in Castle the other night.

  1. Nathan mentions throwing the body out the airlock early in the show.

  2. The brown suede jacket and deep maroon shirt he wore was very reminiscent of the style and color he
wore on Firefly.

  3. The satellite looked like a replica of Serenity.

  4. Speaking Chinese and saying he learned it from a TV show he loved.

  5.  Talking about the government kidnapping someone and messing with their mind.

  Anyone pick up any more?

Got airlock. Missed the wardrobe. I didn't catch the satellite looking like Serenity but I don't have high-def.

The Chinese was just ~too much~ because you KNEW he was gonna mention FF in some way. I yelled a triumphant YEEESSS after he said that.

I liked him humming the X Files theme. It doesn't hurt that Rob Bowman, who is a exec producer on Castle, is an X Files alum ~ producer and director of many eps and the first movie. Lance Henriksen has a connection because of his role on Millennium. Lyle Lovett was an odd choice for the agent, but he worked in places.

I wonder if there is a parallel universe where Firefly is still on the air.   

PS. The Chinese and "tv show I used to love" lines are pretty close to the "two-by-two, hands of blue" glove-thing he did. The Mal costume was good, too, but these had more punch for me. The fact the catalyzer was on the bookshelf would have been better if you could actually make it out. I couldn't make it out on my tv.
