Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

So I'm shopping da Amazon and see that Castle S1 is on sale for $14.99, when in the "Customers Who Bought This Title Also Bought" is Firefly: Still Flying: A Celebration of Joss Whedon's Acclaimed TV Series (Paperback)
~ Joss Whedon (Author)

From Titan Books. This title will be released on April 27, 2010.

It is the third installment of the Firefly Companion series.

I thought the second one was pretty freakin' cool for mentioning the impromptu Backup Bash that was unceremoniously canceled and printing photos from the event itself.

And yes, I had to look it up to just look at photos again (but more importantly check the name, yeah, yeah, that's it).

I <3 those guys.

Oh man, I don't think I have the 2nd one! *if I do, it's probably in the bottom of a box of books that literally broke three shelves on my book case!*.

*off to Amazon*

So cool. Just in time for Jessi's B-day!

The book was actually released on May 25. Didn't know if anybody knows anything about it. I'll get it eventually as I LOVED the other two. I remember reading a script about Jayne and a stuffed animal turtle, don't know if that's in there.  :haha:

Spooky

I like your Dennis Hopper avatar Sara!
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

I saw yours and I decided to go in solidarity. There are a couple really good photos of him out there.

Got the book last Friday. These books are the coolest because of all the extra photos. Somebody out there has an excellent FF photo library. And while, I haven't read the stories ~ they're not too long and they are not scripts just ideas from past script writers Jane E., Ben E., Jose M., and Brett M. Ben's is actually is drawn like a comic. I just can't seem to bring myself to read them yet.

Nice addition: tidbits from various interviews over the years from conventions, etc. Even an article on Redemption.

But my question is: who here knew about the monkey?

No, it had nuthin' to do with the space monkeys. It was a behind-the-scenes thing. I had never heard about it and I just wanted to see if any of youse guys who know every dirty little detail about FF knew! It's a trap!
