I had no idea where the comment cards were! Would have asked but they were swamped.

Making a special envelope and thank you to the marketing guy.

I was able to find a stack of cards, but when I asked the dude at the register where to put it he kinda looked at me like he'd never been asked that before and took it from me. For all I know he put it in the trash.  :beatsme:
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

Will $5 footlongs and Twitter be the salvation of Chuck?

Can a Twitter campaign and pointing people to buy a sub at Subway on Monday save Chuck?  Chuck executive producer and co-creator Josh Schwartz hopes so.  From the LA Times Show Tracker:

In an interview at the National Association of Broadcasters convention in Las Vegas, Schwartz said he had a good meeting with NBC about "Chuck's" future, but he would not speculate on whether the show would survive. NBC, which is stripping Jay Leno across the 10 p.m. time period five nights a week, does not have a lot of real estate for shows like Schwartz's that are on the bubble.

In the meantime, "Chuck" fans are taking matters into their own hands. According to Schwartz, there is a push on the Internet to get fans to go to Subway on Monday before the season finale to buy sandwiches in support of the show. Why Subway? Because the sandwich shop was featured prominently in a recent episode. So much for product placement turning off viewers. "It shows a real sophistication on the part of the viewer," Schwartz said.

While I am a huge fan of the show, and understand that people want to do whatever they can to feel like they're making a difference, fan campaigns don't usually work out.  The only notable recent exception is Jericho, and the results of that were such that I can't imagine any network being moved by a fan campaign anytime soon.  A million people could descend on Subway on Monday.  Heck, I might myself.  But I dont think it will make a difference.

40,000 of you showing up in the next 5 days to buy the Honda Insight that Chuck's own Zachary Levi was the pitchman for during Monday's episode of Chuck on the other hand...

This is what I do not understand .

Leno said some time ago he was retiring from the Tonight Show, so NBC gave it to Conan O'Brien. Later, Leno let it be known that although he was retiring from the Tonight Show, he still wanted to do a talk show like the Tonight Show. ABC and Fox expressed interest in giving him a show to compete with the Tonight Show with O'Brien and Letterman's show and NBC was pretty much backed into a corner and let Leno have five hours a week of prime time to keep him from hurting the Tonight Show.

Bad business decision, IMHO.
"Is this how time normally passes? Really slowly, in the right order?"

On one hand, it forces NBC to weed out its best shows; on the other, Leno gets an extended vacation into living rooms where Life should be.

Does anybody CARE?

Bad ?

That's an understatement .

Leno is the least of all these jokers .

That said ,  I guess I just do not understand this industry , .

And just how long will NBC stay with this ?
Leno's and the suits' egos probably cannot allow for failure .

I'll bet they fiddle with the numbers until the bitter end .

All I know that if NBC cancels Chuck, I will no longer watch NBC.  Not because I am vindictive, but because Chuck is the only NBC show I watch.
