Mild spoilers in the article, they do reveal that the ep after tonights is a Casey centric ep. :)
Chuck Expands Mythology

On NBC's Chuck, our favorite nerd finally got a real girlfriend named Jill, who is played by the beautiful Jordana Brewster (The Fast and the Furious) no less. Then--shock of shocks--in Nov. 17's episode "Chuck Versus the Fat Lady," we discover she's actually a secret FULCRUM agent!

Why can't Chuck (Zachary Levi) get a break? Why is everyone Chuck went to college with a spy? Why do so many bad guys end up at Buy More? Why doesn't the government pay Chuck enough that he could quit his day job? Why is Casey (Adam Baldwin) so cranky all the time? Argh!

While we may not get answers to all (or any of those questions), look for the show's mythology to expand in upcoming episodes, especially when it comes to FULCRUM, that super-secret organization made up of spies from different intelligence agencies,

creator and executive producer Chris Fedak told SCI FI Wire. "This season we're very much getting into the notion of who are these bad guys and what are they doing? How does their organization work and what is their overall goal? A lot of this season will be talk of FULCRUM and talk of the people that are after Chuck."

In fact, FULCRUM comes front and center in Nov. 24's episode, "Chuck Versus the Gravitron," as Chuck's protectors, Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) and Casey, attempt to track down the duplicitous Jill (Brewster), who absconded with Chuck under the pretense (we assume) of a romantic getaway.

But the episode isn't called "Chuck Versus the Gravitron" for nothing. "In that episode we have an action sequence set within a carnival ride called the Gravitron," Fedak said. "It's the one where the occupants are pressed against the walls, and it spins really fast. We filmed inside it, and I was inside I when we turned it on. ... It was a terrible experience," he added with a laugh.

"Coming out of that, our first episode back [after Thanksgiving] will be 'Chuck Versus Sensei,' which is a Casey-centric episode," Fedak added. "Chuck and company run into Casey's old sensei, who is essentially the guy who turned Casey into Casey. Trained him in all the martial arts and psychological training that you need to have to be a super NSA spy. What we also learn is that he's gone rogue. So Casey's sensei--his master, the guy who trained him to be him--has gone off the reservation and is now working as a free=lance spy. It leads to a lot of tension within the ranks, with Casey struggling with just how much anger he now has inside. He and Chuck really kind of get into it over what they should do next."

After that is "Chuck Versus the DeLorean", in which we get some time with Morgan (Joshua Gomez). "We are obsessed with the 1980s here at the Chuck show," Fedak said with a laugh. The producers decided that "we have a television show. We have a lot of money to make the show. Let's get a DeLorean for this thing. ... Morgan is tempted to buy a barely operating 1982 DeLorean, which he names the DeMorgan. This is a Sarah-centric episode, and we learn a little bit more about her father. ... We meet her dad, who's played by the fantastic Gary Cole."

Zachary Levi plays the title role in NBC's Chuck.

Yep, Gary Cole joins the impressive list of guest stars so far this season, which have also included Nicole Richie, John Larroquette, Melinda Clarke and Michael Clarke Duncan. And there are more guest stars ahead this season, including Dominic Monaghan (Lost), Reginal VelJohnson (Die Hard) and Michael Rooker (Slither), Fedak said.

"This year we are really intent on just bringing in people who you could really just lock into," Fedak said. "Because one of the things of our show is we have so many characters--and we have the spy part of the show and the Buy More part of the show--that there is so little time. You have to know who somebody is very quickly. And by bringing in someone as talented as Dominic Monaghan or John Larroquette, you kind of know who they are."

One other dimension: Coming up in January we'll also see Chuck and Chuck in 3-D! Chuck airs on NBC on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT. (NBC is owned by NBC Universal, which also owns SCIFI.COM.) --Kathie Huddleston
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

I absolutely LOVE this show!

When I asked Adam how many more eps they'd be filming (thinking he's say something like three or four), he start counting off, and suddenly was holding up two hands of fingers! I said, "oh my gosh, how does that feel? You put up two hands!" the smile on his face was so awesome. Jessi repined that she's not getting to see any of the eps, due to no tv or internet service at her place at school. I told him we'll have to catch up over the Holidays and hope she doesn't have any classes that clash with it next semester.

This is my favorite new show. I love it too and one reason why I like it so much is it is so rewatchable. I don't get
tired of seeing it over and over. I like other shows but don't have a real desire to see repeats but this one is like
Firefly for me, I enjoy it over and over.

I hope like heck the actors strike doesn't screw things up again. If they have that many still to film it might . I was
hoping they had more done since I knew they had been given a full season of 21 or 22 episodes. I'm glad he has a
hit and has had an opportunity to show his dry humor in this show and I'm glad the writers recognized that he is
so good at it.

The creators and the actors of this show KNOW Adam's pull! He said, after the Chuck panel at Comic Con, the other actors were like 'scared little rabbits' over the huge crowd that they recognised they owed mostly to Adam. They are all Browncoats and Star Trek geeks, and absolutely love being together. Adam adores Zack and couldn't say enough nice things about him. When I did the 'mom thing' and voiced being worried that he might 'go stupid' like too many talented young have in Hollywood, he shook his head....'no, he's gonna be fine'. He's said before that Zack is akin to Dick Van Dyke...he's an "Everyman" who can play everything from the goofy guy to the romantic lead, act, sing, dance, comedy, drama...the works!

Zack is adorable and you know when I saw him dressed up in the suits they put him in and he looks so goodlooking
I thought "There is a young James Bond". I'm glad they get along so well. Adam likes a cast that works well together.
Did anyone get up the nerve to ask about the kiss.

Saxon

They did at the panel! It was hilarious! Adam said it took him till the age of 46 to kiss a man, Zack was 26!!! Poor Zack, wonder what he might have to do in Hollyweird in the next 20 years? hehe!! Oh, and he said that crazy 'wig lady' is trying to win an Emmy...had him in that wacky get up! He said he was mimicking someone from the set, in their California laid back manner. heh. He's having way too much fun. I'm so happy for him.

I can just hear it now. The spluttering he did after that and constantly wiping his mouth looked like it was all him.
No acting needed.

I'm happy for him to and glad we got such a cute show out of it. I've noticed as the show has progressed he has looked
more in his element and happier and definitely better looking. Remember that folded arm pic of him in the first show?
He looked a little heavy and hair was bad and just didn't come across as the Adam we knew. As the show has progressed
he's beefed up again, their putting him in better clothes and he definitely has a better haircut.  :)  Adam is a winter
coloring and they have realized he looks very good in black so they play that up more. Zack is too hence the gorgeous
dark suits that make him look great.

That Buy More green has to be the worst for skin coloring. It makes everyone look sick.

Saxon

They want to play up the 'video geek in the basement' pale I think! lol!

He said all the 'green shirts' on the show are either Browncoats or Trekkies! LOL. How fun is that?

Sounds like he landed in the right spot.  :)  I wonder when they chose him for the role if they realized all they
would be getting. I got the impression he was picked because of type and then his part expanded because of
his other abilities with comedy. I wonder if he told them he could do more or they experimented since they
realized he was so popular with the audience and they knew the audience wanted more. His part at the start
of Chuck was pretty slim pickins at first.
