I've been eating their breakfast sandwiches the past two weeks .
I'd forgotten how tasty they are .
A toasted ham, egg, cheese, onion and green pepper with salt&pepper .
:)
Jessi and I finally watched all the eps she'd missed this semester...oh my, what a ride. We realized that EVERY show, Casey had a 'Jaynesque' line...how cool is that? And there are always 'Adam-centric' nods too. We love that.
Fingers crossed that the 3rd season is a go. That would ensure a panel at Comic Con...*woot*

Yes, Tink, I think I will (virtually, anyway cause I surely don't want Mrs. Tink mad at me!!)
Wooohoooo!! That's one down and several to go. (C'mon networks, renew Castle, T:SCC, Dollhouse, The Unit, Eleventh Hour, Without a Trace, and Life)!!
Am I the only person in the United States that just hates reality shows?? It seems like that's all the networks want anymore and I'm so sick of them I can't stand it.
I'd love for more T:TSCC, but I think that's all we're gonna get. I HAVE to have more Castle! I also want more Life.
They'd be crazy not to renew Chuck, but then, we know that they aren't always sane, or else we'd not be seeing those reality shows.

That article made it sound like there's no hope of Life being renewed. Seriously hope it's wrong.
Hey, Saxon and Angi, Don't hold out hope for Life. Every other show that had its kind of ratings gets canceled. It's just the way the cookie crumbles. I hate it because I am as big a fan as you guys.
headdesk - don't look for a Chuck announcement on Monday

Update 3: Nikki Finke is reporting that pretty much everything but Life, and Knight Rider will be picked up by NBC and announced on Monday (actually she hasn't mentioned Kath & Kim or My Name is Earl yet).
Update 2: Saturday May 2, 11:30A PDT: The Hollywood Reporter has updated its story on Southland's renewal (Southland is still renewed) to include the following:
However, NBC is not expected to make a final decision on the fate of all of them by Monday, with fan favorite "Chuck" among those who will remain in contention beyond the infront.
So it looks like we're just going to have to wait.
Update: Saturday May 2: from our friends at Watch With Kristin on E Online:
When asked last night at an Eva Longoria Parker-hosted charity event benefiting Children's Hospital Los Angeles about prospects for a third season of Chuck, Levi said, "I thought we were going to hear about it this Monday because NBC's announcing a bunch of its schedule, but I just got an email from [Chuck executive producer] Josh Schwartz, and he said stay positive, [but] we're not going to find out on Monday. It could be another week or two. They're making their final tallies and decisions."
Saw the following from Michael Ausiello on Twitter:
BREAKING CHUCK UPDATE: Hearing NBC may not make a decision on Monday as expected. I'm told not to read anything into that. Developing...
Like many of you, I wasn't expecting the full schedule announcement from NBC on Monday, but was expecting announcements about which series would be returning. I hope what Ausiello is hearing is not true, but if it is, it's currently hard to read anything into it. If NBC winds up delaying announcements for all shows, then there's absolutely nothing to read into that. But, if NBC is only delaying the annoucement for Chuck, however, I would definitely read something into it and that's that NBC and Warner Brothers are still negotiating.
This is completely farked up.
Go to NBC.com, at the bottom of the page there is a link for feedback. They have a "survey" of what channels and shows you watch. If everyone we know clicks Chuck & Life, maybe it'll give these bozos a clue!!

Done!
Chuck does not appear on NBC's fall schedule. It hasn't been officially canceled nor has it been renewed.
This blows.

No Chuck....but we are told to wait till May 19th for the 'full' lineup.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....
Still looking for where to click to tell them to keep Chuck!

Doing this NBC survey can't hurt.

Huh...that was odd.
Yeah, they said they valued my opinion and wanted me to be a part of their survey team. I told them to fark off and die if they canceled Chuck and Leno could DIAF.
Nikki Finke updates the backroom dealing on the renewal of Chuck:
"3RD UPDATE: I've learned why announcements regarding the renewal fates of Chuck and My Name Is Earl have been delayed. And it involves more horsetrading than the Triple Crown. My sources tell me that NBC lowballed the Earl license fee, and the show's owner, Twentieth Century Fox, came back with a proposal which NBC has been sitting on for a few days. As for Chuck, this gets complicated. Turns out NBC didn't like David E Kelley's Warner Bros pilot Legally Mad. Problem is, there's a $2 million penalty that gets paid to WB if the network doesn't pick up the show. So NBC is hoping to work a deal tying the renewal of Chuck, which is also a WB show, to a pass on paying that Legally Mad penalty."
Bottom line, there is still hope.

So Chuck is balanced on a knife's edge because of a
Lawyer show ?
God knows there aren't any of those on right now .
:P
( hey , how about a Crime fighting lawyer who works in the ER of a CSI Unit ? )

But this is
different!
This is a David Kelley lawyer show. You know, L.A. Law, Ally McBeal, The Practice, Boston Legal, Boston Public. These lawyers are hip, young, and snarky. Plus they really care about justice. ;)
Stupid lawyer shows. :P
There should be a show about law school.

Sounds like NBC may be playing with fire here and doing a little blackmail. With all the publicity Chuck has
received lately WB may be in a position to shop it and NBC may be the loser. What happened or maybe they
never did have creativity or maybe there are just too many in this country that constantly like the same ole
same ole but WHY is it the same type of show over and over? Everytime something different comes on it goes
poof quickly. Really sad.
