Latest BCS shows LSU 1, Okie State 2, Bama 3. If Oklahoma beats Okie State and Bama wins out, rematch.

I suspect the BCS will do everything in its power to see that happens - don't get me wrong , from what I've gleaned , the two top teams this year are 'bama and LSU .

I'm just one of those guys who wants a playoff system .

Well, Stanford has to lose as well. They are playing Oregon in a few weeks, so we will have to see. But based on the BCS standings, if Oklahoma and Stanford lose and Alabama wins out, it is Bama and LSU II on January 9th. If not, Bama will probably play Boise in the Sugar Bowl on January 3rd. Either way, it looks like Bama will be play in New Orleans in 2012. Just when and for what remains to be seen.

From the looks of things, LSU will be #1, Bama #2, Arkansas #3 tomorrow. LSU and Arkansas play Friday, if Arkansas beats LSU, Bama might go the SEC Championship Game (but probably not). At any rate, everything that had to happen for a rematch has fallen into place. Now it is up to the voters.

Houston is #10 and undefeated, but they haven't played anyone.

Former Alabama player and soon-to-be former Raiders play Rolando McClain arrested in 'shooting altercation'



Rolando McClain will have to answer to a host of charges after being arrested yesterday in an incident where police in Decatur, Ala., allege the Oakland Raiders linebacker held a gun beside a man's head during an altercation.

And in the court of public opinion he'll also have to answer for this photo taken during his arrest.

McClain elected to smile broadly for the camera as John Godbey of the Decatur Daily caught the moment.

McClain was released on $2,000 bond and faces charges of assault, menacing, reckless endangerment and firing a gun inside the city limits.

McClain's attorney Billy C. Burney II said the linebacker "asserts his innocence" and that, "We are confident that Mr. McClain will be cleared of all charges."

The Decatur Daily also has a transcript of the 911 call from when the incident was phoned in to police.
