Daniel was the Cylon model that Cavel destroyed after they made the first (and only) one. He was an artist and not much more was said about him. I think that the 'head' piano player was Daniel, was Kara's father, and that she and Hera (Hera/Kara, hmmm...) were the first successful human/Cylon offspring.

Ahh, yes, now I'm remembering.  Ellen brought it up right before Boomer broke her out of the base ship.  Right?!  What a dumbarse!  Totally forgot.  This is why I need to watch each ep at least twice, cause I either miss important stuff, or forget all about it....shouldn't have done all that acid in the '80's!
