Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

So, how are they managing to do that? 'Copy' 'real' personalities to begin with? Are all their 'personnas' then, DEAD?

And did anyone 'get' the very first 'personna' she was? Was the guy just wanting to make sure he had a 'hot date' for his birthday?

I like shows that make me think...but I also like shows to make some sense. Unfortunately, from what I've heard, we aren't going to be getting to the 'sense making' eps till about 6 or 7 in. Will the net allow us that much time?

How? I don't know. There is always plot devices in SciFi that you have to suspend belief for. Maybe they will explain it as the series progresses.

I do remember reading an interview with Joss were he said they will air all the produced eps, but the network can do whatever they want. if they have a stupid reality show in the wings they think will get better ratings, then who knows?
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

I have no problem with suspending my disbelief...I can just accept that pepople can 'transport', as long as it is explained that they are 'transporting to the surface'....They can wave a device over a person and tell me it's giving them detailed medical info (actually, not too far off in the future)...ya know? AS long as they let me know what it is they are doing, I don't need details on the origin of it.

I just don't like that something that is sooooooooooooo 'advanced' would seem to have so many 'flaws'. Also, who's payin' for it? Who/what is behind it?

This was something I loved about Leverage. We learned all those things in simple, 'nutshell' bits that all fit together without making me feel like they were trying to explain it to a preschooler.

Okay, here's another 'pet peeve':
Why does she walk around like a mindless freak/robot girl, who doesn't seem to have a clue as to what is going on and why, where, whatever...but once they give her the personality of a DEAD person who would have NO knowledge of that place, could she go in and request a 'reboot' of sorts?
lol...when I first read that I thought it said 'falseies'....
so, do you think they KNEW that one of the kidnappers was HER personna's nemesis, and it was a purposeful set up?

Although, from some of the pix of ED that I've seen, the girl seems to have 'real ones'. But I still say she's built like a 10 year old boy otherwise.
