Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

I suspect it's "Winter is Coming" until it's Spring and then .....

;)
It's nice here with a view of the trees
Eating with a spoon?
They don't give you knives?
'Spect you watch those trees
Blowing in the breeze
We want to see you lead a normal life

Spooky

And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

I read an interesting theory that Lightbringer may not be a literal sword, but in fact could be the Nights Watch. Spoilers for Book 5 in my source so I won't post a link. The meat of the theory is some of the verbiage in the NW's oath.

QuoteNight gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all nights to come.

The theory goes into more detail, but it would ruin some HUGE revelations at the end of book 5 so I'll say no more.

I hope they are faithful to the book with that scene. ;)
