Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

Yikes!

The NFL has just handed down a major penalty against the New Orleans Saints -- the team that lost to the Seahawks in that amazing playoff game in 2011 -- for their bounty program that targeted opposing players. The head coach is suspended for the year. The GM is suspended for 8 games. The former defensive coordinator is suspended indefintely and the team loses draft picks.

And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

Hard hits = a-okay. Hard hits for cash bonuses = bannination.

Via Twitter: Sean Payton gets the same length suspension as Donte Stallworth, who killed someone and went to jail.

I was expecting the NFL to do something, but I wasn't expecting this. It sucks when you get "made an example of". Aside from the Seahawks, The Saints are the only other NFC team I root for. Used to live in Red Stick when I was little and have family in New Orleans.

Every team in the NFL has bountys .

Trick is don't get caught .

It's nice here with a view of the trees
Eating with a spoon?
They don't give you knives?
'Spect you watch those trees
Blowing in the breeze
We want to see you lead a normal life

Via Twitter: "Cam Newton played against New Orleans twice in 2011 and wasn"t hurt in either game." Half-assing hitmen.
