The last few episodes haven't been too bad. They are mentioning in promos that 'everything finally comes together' or something. But the ratings are terrible. If they don't improve I don't see how it comes back.

I don't know, I don't think they'll give up the opportunity to tie in to the MCU that quickly.  Next week will be interesting, with Jamie Alexander on.  They've been promoting the heck out of Lady Sif, as well as the tie-in to CA:TWS.

The problem is that the show is acting like an infomercial for the movies/DVDs. The only people left watching are people who are already hardcore fans who will buy the DVDs and go to the movies. It doesn't really broaden the audience.

It's kind of like when Universal had those screenings for Serenity. The only people who showed up were people who were going to see the movie anyway.

I'm glad they renewed it. It did improve a lot as the episodes moved along and my
shows that I enjoy have been getting very thin lately. More are being canceled on me
than I can find replacements for.
