The on-air ESPN dude used the phrase "Chink in the armor" in the middle of a conversation, I'd posit, without thinking and did not realize what he had said. The guy who wrote the headline on the website had to think on it and chose his words and still had time to pull it back and did not.

This is why one guy got sent home for a month without pay and another got sent home without a job.
