Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

She is so cute. Did anyone else get the impression from that Dragon Con panel that Jewel and Morena
have a little special clique going and they push Summer out. Those two looked very high schoolish up
there kind of dissing the shy people like Sean and Summer. Jewel with her back to them and looking
over her shoulder at them while her and Morena play cutsey with Alan and Nathan. I've seen this before
but some of the other guys are there to off set it so it isn't as noticeable.

I saw this from the Harlan Ellison link. NICE pics (toward the bottom).

Jewel and Morena probably bonded from EARLY on (their characters were very much like sisters or even mother-daughter), but I wouldn't read too much into it. Summer is typically quiet. Maybe Saxon or Rosie might have a better take on this though, as they've spent the most time meeting and listening to them!

End the hyphens...we are all human beings who live in America.

Jewel and Morena are friends. You can see that when they are together. They also have very outgoing personalities, especially when they get together. When Morena does panels for "V" she's not that animated. She's just having fun while she's hanging out with Jewel. Summer is so very quiet and shy in the panels, she's easily overshadowed by the stronger personalities. When she was doing panels for Terminator, she was almost embarrassed acting by the obvious fan appeal she had. The guys were cool about calling her a 'rock star'...but I think the gal who played Sarah Connor wasn't too happy about it. I think it made Summer uncomfortable to be pushed more in the spotlight when TPTB realized that SHE was the big pull for the show. After the first panel, they even changed the font of the show's title, and all the big poster and billboard ads were of Summer!

But it's not a 'mean girls' thing...it's just their personalities. Sean just hasn't done as many of these panels...he's really the 'new kid' in all this, even after all these years. I was really impressed with Gina year before last at Creation...she was awesome in her panel. I was worried about them having each speaker on stage alone, but she was great. It was funny how little she knew about the Browncoats though. She was shocked that 'we' knew so much about the show! Unfortunately, I missed Summer's panel, so I have no idea how she did on her own. When she's with Nathan or worse yet, with Nathan & Alan, all she does is sit and giggle with the rest of us! lol.

Speaking of Creation (LAX in Nov), they better book some more of the cast, or I probably won't try to go. :(
It's so close to the start of 'Holiday' season, I really can't afford to go unless it's really worth the money. As of the last visit to the site, they only had Morena and Sean listed. I'd love to be able to talk to Morena, since I haven't since she started "V"...would love to tell her how much I love the job she is doing.

Since we missed last year, I'm really hoping for more of the old gang...although I know they are all so busy.

Yes, I can tell they are friends and enjoy each others company and I know Summer and Sean are
introverts and shy and really find panels like that uncomfortable, which is all the more reason they
shouldn't be off to themselves up there but intermixed with the more gregarious so they work as
a group.  Gina really did separate herself from everyone didn't she, right off the bat.  For a show
she loved so much she never kept up with the fan base at all.  I wonder why.
