Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

Yeah, I agree with you. And I forgot to vote. heehee

The giving birth comment was pretty funny too. Gonna miss him next year.

Bye bye cute screaming girl.
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

Aaron KellyFly Me to the Moon – Not bad. A couple of shaky-voice moments and when I was just listening and not watching, the band overpowered him a bit.

Casey JamesBlue Skies – Yikes! His voice was a little bit all over the place. Not very good dude. I wonder if he has a cold of something? I'm not even going to listen to the judges. Turning the channel. Click!

Crystal BowersoxSummer Wind – Very nice. She sounded great! Indulgent Simon? I think the judges were being a bit indulgent with their criticism. How about that Randy, Ellen, Kara and Simon?!?  :loloeo:

Michael LyncheThe Way You Look Tonight – Very good! Better than Crystal. Blah blah blah Randy...

Lee DeWyzeThat's Life – Yeah.... Best of the night. Sorry Mike. I'd love to hear Lee sing some more Sinatra.

The List...

Lee
Michael
Crystal
Aaron
Casey - bye bye Casey.

And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

Yeah, Casey took a total dive last night, what happened? Poor guy!

I thought Aaron did a very respectable job. He's young and still shaky in places, but he's got that tone of voice that makes for a great singer.

The only thing I SO wanted to see last night was Lee decked out in a suit and not a disheveled mess!    Come on man!! How cool would he have looked all in black. Even Kris wore a suit last year, and he didn't look totally comfortable. Then again not every contestant is Adam Lambert who would WEAR a suit ("Feeling Good" and "A Change is Gonna Come"). Oh well, Hobbit Lee lives! You know whose voice he reminds me of: Adam Duritz of the Counting Crows. There's a few others, too, but I can't think of them right now.

Crystal was perfect. Billie Holliday often sang soft and understated performances, so I think the judges were talking out their asses. Thankfully, Kara recognized her phrasing made the song. And she looked GORGEOUS!!!! Showing off the sunflower tat?  :headbang:

Michael was definitely in it to win it. I like him okay; but like I told Eric last night, Boyz II Men will always be the best male R&B for me (Stevie and Marvin Gaye are close). It doesn't get much better than Boyz II Men.

Aaron is gone. Not surprising. I though it would be Casey or him. The fact the Michael was in the bottom two leads me to believe that the final two will no doubt be Lee and Crystal, as it should be.

Damn you Vote for the Worst!

Casey actually sounded good tonight. The Gaga performance was anticlimactic for me. I was glad they didn't focus the camera on her butt. This society is doomed in a way. I mean, did you see any clips from Miley's new video? WTH! STOP trying to grow up so damn fast! Sometimes I really miss the 80's. At least Madonna was 25 when she rolled around on stage during her first MTV Video Awards performance. It's different when you're 17.

ANYWAY....the group performances were awesome tonight!

Lee DeWyzeKiss from a Rose – Dude... You could have done better. A little off at times.

Michael LyncheI'll Be There – He sang it well, but it was kind of boring to me.

Lee and Crystal - Falling Slowly - AWESOMESAUCE!

Casey JamesMrs. Robinson – Borrrrrrrring. Whose idea was it to have him surrounded by a bunch of young girls when the song is about the opposite? He should have been singing to Kara. Seriously. He should have been looking Kara in the eyes while singing and having fun with the flirting she was doing with him earlier in the competition. It would have worked.

Crystal BowersoxI'm Alright –  :headbang: MamaSox rockin' it!

Casey and Mike - Have You Ever Loved A Woman - Not bad! Much better than their solo performances.

Casey or Michael are going home.... I hope.

Been reading some comments (about Crystal) on the internets and I am praying...

I knew Crystal and Lee would sound great together. I was hoping for that duet for weeks.

What were the rumors?

Pearl@32

I was bored with everyone's performance except Mamasox's. I was okay with Lee's but it wasn't my favorite. I think the gang is tired and ready for the competition to be over. I forgot to vote. I voted last week.

The duets were awesome. I knew when Lee and Crystal started playing guitar what song it was and I knew it was going to be great. Kris Allen sang it last year and he did a good job with it, too.

I wish they didn't talk about the movies so much ~ imagine if they started talking about Bill Murray and the gopher! Dear God.

Wow what kind of crap are they talking? About her boyfriend's (?) pants? Did ya see those American flag pants like the guy in Napoleon Dynamite?!

PS. Michael sang "Will You Be There" ~ Free Willy and "I'll Be There" are thankfully, two completely different things!!! Go Willy!
