They announced a partial schedule today and will supposedly announce a full schedule in a couple of weeks. Chuck might come back as a mid season replacement, but I don't see how a show on th bubble would be received after such a long hiatus.

QuoteBut people are hearing a lot of different things.  The weekend started off on Friday night with Josh Schwartz sending out an e-mail to Chuck staffers:

    Hey guys —

Sorry for the mass-ish email. Still in NYC.  NBC is going to make an announcement on Monday. And although we will not be part of that announcement DONT READ ANYTHING INTO IT.  It's a partial fall schedule.  Returning shows (most announced), maybe a couple new shows.  They don't have it all figured out yet.   But we are still alive.  So while it would be nice to hear definitively Monday, it could be a week or even two.  I don't know what night yet they're talking about us for, or how many episodes.

As soon as I know more I will pass it along.  Sorry about the delay...Sit tight, and keep the positive vibes coming.  It's working...

I already am.  If I wanted to watch Leno, I'd watch at 11:30.  Seriously ticks me off that 5 shows are getting axed because they are putting him in prime time.  Asshats!

Perhaps there are some execs who are taking a "salt the earth" approach to the Leno fiasco . I mean why commit ?
Why not contract some shows like Chuck for at least 7 -14 episodes as  replacements for when America's collective *yawn* dooms the Leno show ?

Or are they committed to 100% "Lenocide" ?

(  just made that up )

So, does Leno, like OWN NBC now? He got tired of just collecting expensive cars? He bought some suits to go with them? Stupid, stupid move. Instead of watching a show that features people from TV shows...why not just let us WATCH the TV shows? hmmmmmmmmmmm? How many guests is he going to have, if they AXE all the shows? I know they 'cross' promote, but seriously, one of the reasons those 'late night' talk shows got started was cuz the daytime talk shows missed an entire audience of working people. So, they put them on late night, spotlighted the actors and shows their nets were PROMOTING. It was supposed to be one big long (and hopefully) entertaining COMMERCIAL for what was on. This is stupid and wrong. I just don't get it. Seriously.
