Title: A very sad day in Seattle sports

R.I.P. Dave Niehaus. Mariner baseball will never be the same. I shed more than a few tears on the way home from work listening to all the Dave Niehaus stories on the radio. Dave was the Mariners broadcaster from their very first game until their last game this year. It feels like a friend passed. I only met him a few times, but have listened to hundreds of games on the radio and TV. Dave was one of the best. Like all the great baseball broadcasters, he knew how to paint a picture with words and kept you entertained during the bad games... years.

My, oh my.... I am bummed.
