Colonial Viper pilots plan an attack on the Resurrection Hub with their Cylon rebel allies. Meanwhile, Laura "sees" an old friend during the baseship's ftl jumps.
Way to go, Jane (Espenson)!
I feel a little bit better watching this season: this wrap-up is making me excited to watch it again, kinda like when watching Razor.
[spoiler]All I can say is "thank God/the gods." The ruse worked for a split second: "Are they REALLY going there???" Whew, saved by a laugh.
The Colonials have now leveled the field. Which begs the scenario:
The Colonials decide to assimilate the Cylons into their civilization. A Six stands in line at Galactic Security. Signs on the wall say, "A safe and healthy Cylon is a live Cylon!" and "Look both ways before you cross the universe." Her number is called and she is greeted at the counter by a female security officer: "OK, here's a toiletry kit with a toothbrush, antibacterial soap, band-aids, and (whispers) a few feminine convenience items (smiles at her), one copy of "How to Be an Instrument of God" by Gaius Baltar, some "Free dessert with the purchase of a meal" coupons on Galactica, one deck of cards, a 3-pack of Hanes Her Way underwear, and your official passport. (stamp) Have a nice day."
*geeky laugh*

According to the schedule on SciFi.com, the next ep (June 13, yep Friday the 13th!) is the last ep listed. Starting July 11 they have SG Atlantis' new season (or the second half of this season, whatever!). Don't know yet when BSG will be back or if this is it.
:wall:
Okay, upon further investigation (tv.com and thefutoncritic.com) they have 22 eps for the final season. Counting next weeks ep, 15 have aired. Let's "do the math" here....7 eps left AFTER Friday, June 13.
Grrrrr.....arrrgh!
Hey, hey, hey: SciFi *did* originally order 22 hours of a fourth season. But don't go jumping the gun!! There's 10 left! "Chill! You MUST chill!"
Season 4 officially is 20 episodes, and will SPLIT into two half-seasons.

Battlestar's return dated

Final and fourth season of Battlestar Galactica set for April; season three DVD hits stores in late March.
...
Season four of Battlestar Galactica will premiere on April 4, just over one year after season three concluded. (The second part of the season-three finale aired on March 25, 2007.)
Currently, the Sci-Fi Channel has announced only a release date; the looming question of whether or not the show will split its 20-episode final season into two parts--and whether or not that second part would air in 2008--is still up in the air.

An article dating back even further:

Splitting Battlestar final season still undecided

Execs at Sci-Fi Channel still pondering two 10-episode seasons; Caprica spinoff series not dead yet. [ETA: It's on for sure.]
Galactica freaks: by now you've probably heard that the Sci-Fi Channel is considering splitting the final season of Battlestar Galactica into two parts, which isn't unusual for television or the show itself. What is a bit perturbing is the rumor that the back end of the season won't air until 2009.
However, there is a new sentiment around Hollywood that breaking a season into two parts--whether it is a few months or a year--is a death sentence. Apparently the execs at the Sci-Fi Channel are still trying to figure out which direction to take.
According to TVWeek.com, the suits are still discussing their options with Battlestar, and at least one exec is "firmly against the idea" of splitting the series into two 10-episode halves.
"It doesn't affect my job either way since we're shooting it straight through," creator Ronald Moore told TVWeek. "It might be better to get it all done [in the same year] for the fans so they don't have to wait." And if Moore's sentiments are correct and the show is split, Sci-Fi might have a riot on its hands. "When people see the ending of the 10th episode, they're going to freak out," he said.
----------
"Revelations," the 10th episode, airs next Friday the 13th. So with Moore's comment, "they're going to freak out," luck favors that we will know the identity of the last Cylon model by 10:59 pm EST (or sooner).
Whether or not luck will favor the latter half of Season 4 airing in the fall/winter of this year is with TPTB. IMDB.com has the final 10 episodes listed as airing in 2009, but preliminary news is always subject to change.
"I have hidden your keys! You MUST chill!" :-*
Or not! ;)
>>There's 10 left! "Chill! You MUST chill!"<<
I'm tryin' Mrs. F, but they are MAKING ME CRAZY! Bad enough that it's the final season but to drag it out! I did just get my SciFi email that says "Mid-season finale". I hate that. Run the frakkin' season and be done with it!
Okay, rant over. Guess we'll just have to wait and see when the second half is gonna air.
The good news is, Atlantis will be back in a couple of weeks...
I re-watched ep9 last night ( third time ! )
Loved it .
4.9 was pretty much the high point of the season to date.
