Sweet ...
BioWare makes good RPGs. Mass Effect was awesome. Almost like an interactive movie sometimes.
I only played the demo of Knights of the Old Republic, but it looked cool and I heard a lot of good things.

Must be .
The vid was soo herky-jerky it hurt my eyes .
I guess I've been ignoring the SWTOR news. I did a beta test. It was fun in ways and boring in others. I'm supposed to test it one more time before the release, but I doubt I'll even be buying it unless I get talked into doing so.
Fun Star Wars video by a SWTOR guild-to-be. The "rouge" misspelling of rogue is intentional, since it's really really a common misspelling in MMOs:

My little brother just got into the beta. He says it's pretty cool.
Maybe I've just lost my taste for the basic MMO quest formula of killing things and looting things. Maybe if aggro range was line-of-sight instead of a radius and mobs wouldn't respawn every five minutes, it'd feel different. ;)
They seem to have the rest down pretty well though.
My brother in an MMO junkie.
I used to be, for sure.
I've kind of developed a new attitude toward them, though. I can either pay $60 and play a game for a month, then $15/month thereafter... or I can get something like Skyrim and bring it out to play any time I like. That may not be a realistic expectation, but it's mine, dagnabbit. AND GET OFF MY LAWN.

That's why I like RPG's. 8)

If you had registered before 11/06/2011 you should receive one within the next month anyway. If you had, they say "please do not acquire and redeem one of these codes as it could jeopardize your ability to participate in this test. "
My brother was on the waiting list for a while and finally got a beta key on Thursday. They opened up the beta to stress test the servers and my brother wasn't able to login until about 2 am Saturday.
Well, now's your chance. ;)
I'd rather "notch, draw, loose" arrows at dragons, if it pleases m'lord.

Why do you hate Star Wars? And Kittens?
Kittens are for eatin' and Star Wars happen in 1977 and doesn't taste as good as kittens.
A French group made a surprisingly well done SWTOR fan film based off one of the SWTOR trailers (footage is about four minutes long).

This has gone "free to play", which often means "You can play in a limited way" or "if you want the really cool stuff, you have to pay'. Still probably a decent way to check it out.
