Great price, but I wasn't overly impressed with the second season. Ann dropped it entirely, I don't think she watched more than a few minutes of the first episode.
I recently re-watched it and enjoyed it much more than when it aired.
I loved the guts out of it and want to marry it
( not an objective fan )
:D
Amazon has dropped their price five bucks; the combo pack of Blu-ray, DVD, and digital copy is now $29.99.
I pre-ordered so I am guaranteed the lowest price. :woohoo:

Me too

Mine's even cheaper! :P
Just kidding. I didn't like it enough to pick it up when it fell off the internet. But I know you guys who have read it really enjoyed it. To me, it felt like they were given a list of 40 or 50 plots points out of a hundred or so and told they could hit half off the list of 40-50. Almost like a Cliff's Notes version of the outline.
I've tried reading the book, several times. It is not (at least for me) an easy read. I wish I could get as enthused about it as you guys obviously are, but the spark just is not there.
Since you mentioned reading, and I can't help myself, I am going to recommend the Wool series by Hugh Howey again. I know I've done it in the books thread, but I like it so much I can't pass up the opportunity to mention it again.

I'll give it a shot!

Yeah, we're not getting it either. I just wanted to relay it to the board in case some people did.
And be careful, that boxset might be a bootleg.

Fry's is offering this for $25 (http://www.frys.com/product/7424375?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG), so it may be worth the trouble to try to get Amazon to price match -- even if its already shipped.
See other users' experiences toward the end of this thread (http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/89798/frys-game-of-thrones-the-complete-second-season-preorder-bluray).
I already got an email from Amazon saying they are crediting me $5 for the price difference since I pre-ordered (at $34.99). I'm happy with that.
