The Ravens aren't giving up!
I had to pull for the Ravens, as Terrence Cody and Courtney Upshaw both played for Alabama. Dang good game!
And to think, last year, Upshaw got a BCS National Championship ring in the Superdome and he gets a Superbowl ring in the same place about 13 months later.
And as I've been reminded, Baltimore's GM Ozzie Newsome was Built By Bama!
We also have to folks from Maryland in our little band of misfits.
I am a Seahawks fan it it would have taken a lot of money for me to root for the Niners... Being mortal enemies an all.

It was very considerate of him to not stab anyone on the way out ....
:P
( we joked that the outage was so Ray could hide a few bodies )
Ray had no fans at the Tavern tonight ....

True dat and they were in my thoughts during the game. Especially the one who has quit posting.
Who u talking about?! :haha:
Our area neighbors set off fireworks after the game.
The fact that the Ravens are not solely a running team anymore and Flacco has delivered on his passing game made for an exciting game. It's one thing that your quarterback has "a throwing arm," but if he and the receivers can't make completed passes, it makes for painful football. It really felt like that for a few years. And there's only so many times you can run up the middle before the defense keeps shutting you down. (Those plays are the worst.) It's been pretty sweet seeing the team come together like this. There's going to be a huge party tomorrow welcoming them home.
Flacco is a great quarterback

My mom was rooting for the Ravens because she thinks Flacco is very handsome. That and she hasn't liked the Niners since the Montana/Young years (she had crushes on both of them as well).
Cheering for the Niners' was counter-intuitive for me . I've hated them ( been jealous ) for so long I just can't remember not wanting them to lose ( always respected most of their players not named Romanowski ) .
But I really like Colin Kaepernick and his style .
That and my feelings about a certain double homicide participant and I had no reason pulling for the red and gold Sunday night .
( that safety won me a 1/2 share of $500 , so that salved my disappointment over the final score )
;)
Congrats on the $$! That safety probably ruined other folks day though.
