Tonight's episode, "Secret's Safe with Me," is awesome. Castle is finally back to LOL for me. :loloeo:

I watch it because Ann watches it but I really wouldn't miss it if it went away.
Last night's ep was pretty good. I knew something was not right.
Next week's ep is the sci-fi/Halloween-theme ~ would have been THIS week if it wasn't for debate #3. /bad timing
i think Castle is evil. It was all a ruse. The sereis is going to end with him being a serial killer and Dexter will take care of him.
One of my shows that didn't DVR last night because of the power outage. I hope I can find it on ON Demand.

He has an evil twin! With a Van Dyke beard! (of course)
I thought it was going to something with his father....I don't remember the 3XK storyline very well. I was very impressed with Beckett coming out of the car just shooting away. I was like, DAAUUHHHMN! Castle doesn't have Mal's accuracy though.
Ha, I'd rather be surprised! ;) I got spoiled on "Mother's" true identity in Psycho (I only ask when I can't stand it anymore), but luckily that electric scream with the big reveal and then the spooky ending didn't completely ruin the movie for me!

Wow! Well we have always known she was going to be drop dead gorgeous. :) I haven't watched this yet
but the trailer looked fun.
It was a funny episode. Ed Quinn (Stark from "Eureka") guest starred and he was hilarious. I also loved learning Beckett is a fangurl.
Minor spoiler regarding Espy and Ryan's conversation about sci-fi:
I was so excited when Espy was trying to find out what kind of sci-fi/fantasy fan Ryan was. "What movies do you like? 2001? MONOLITH. What is that?!" I was all :headbang: because I seriously don't get 2001.
also:
Ryan: Swords and sorcery, that's more my thing. Like Lord of the Rings.
Javi: Yeah, I could see you as an elf...or a hobbit. <---I was like "Hobbit"!

I'm glad they did the sci-fi show/convention episode ~ I enjoyed it very much.
HATED the documentary episode about the dead guitarist. While it turned out nice for the band in the end and we got to hear Jon Huertas's singing voice, Nathan was so. freaking. annoying.
Good to see the show is back "on" and Caskett are looking like boyfriend-girlfriend. I also enjoyed seeing the parents fleshed out and Penny Johnson Jerald getting a crack at interrogating. I was hoping for some First Lady of 24 style, but I'll take it.

I'm trying to recall documentary-style episodic TV and I'm having a blank. One of the times they had cameras on an "ER" episode was the live broadcast. That worked for me. But in general a lot of complaints come from the camerawork.

Castle is new tonight.
Darby Stanchfield (Meredith), really looks like she could be Alexis's mom.
I've mentioned my close friend Mel from time to time; her name is Melanie Rodgers and we all got a kick out of the murder victim's name last night.

Nice one, Spooky.
I was very proud of Alexis but also quite worried. Did not see the twist at the end.
When Castle went into the room to "interrogate" the driver, he spoke very monotone and low, much like in various Alliance interrogations ("Bushwacked" "...he was made to stare..." and Serenity "...I don't murder children.")

I posted on FB that we saw a bit more Malcolm Reynolds last night. You could almost hear him say "You want to meet the real me now?"
This season has been mediocre for me. It started out great ~ seeing Beckett and Castle finally together and trying to keep their relationship under wraps at work ~ the hand holding thing in front of the white board ~ the scifi convention ~ and then we're here at the end of the season when neither of them is talking to each other about where the relationship is going and Beckett doesn't discuss the job offer with Castle?! I found this year's episodes so scripted with BS...there are communication issues in relationships but really? They're acting like young people when it comes to their relationship ~ this is the stupid stuff you do when you date someone out of college. The writing has just ruined what could have been something so great, and it WAS great at the beginning. Now it's just piddly stuff and secrets. The one highlight was the "Rear Window" episode ~ THAT was nice for their relationship, but what has happened afterward just isn't gelling for me.
Here's some scoop about tonight's season finale:
10 pm Castle (ABC) | Season finale: An interview with a high-profile federal law-enforcement agency leads Kate to reconsider what she wants in her career – and in her relationship with Rick. (Watch a sneak preview, check out photos and find out why series creator Andrew Marlowe calls the hour "an emotional cliffhanger.") Kyle Secor (Homicide: Life on the Street) guest-stars. Final Season 5 scooplet, per Matt Mitovich: The final scene runs about two minutes.
TVLINE | Talk about the title of this season's finale, "Watershed" (airing May 13).
Every so often in life you face a watershed moment, and I have to give props to [producer-wife] Terri Miller for coming up with the title. It was absolutely perfect — especially since in our A-case we find a body in a water tank. It was a great title that spoke to both the personal and the professional aspect of the storytelling.
TVLINE | Are you leaving viewers with a cliffhanger?
There is a bit of a cliffhanger, yeah. It's an emotional cliffhanger that I think will propel us into some great, complicated, interesting storytelling as we head into next season — assuming the TV gods are kind and grant us one. (it's renewed)
http://tvline.com/2013/04/28/castle-preview-season-5-finale-cliffhanger-season-6-complicated/ (http://tvline.com/2013/04/28/castle-preview-season-5-finale-cliffhanger-season-6-complicated/)
I've enojyed this season. Some episode stood more than others, but all in all it was good.
I absolutely hate season finales. I do not need these cliffhanger endings
to make me come back and watch a show I like. In fact they just make me
mad. You get something nice going in a relationship during the season and
the last couple of shows they always blow it up. It gets to be one continuous
soap opera which never had an ending which is why I never understood how
anyone could watch those things. Normally I just try and DVR the last show
and then wait until the new season starts to watch it, that way I don't have
to dwell on whether someone died or left or got blown up or ended their
relationship.
I want her to take the job and for them to be engaged. I would not mind the show moving to D.C. and then Becket gets to hire a team and Esposito and Ryan get to come along for the ride. Or they have her work out of a NY office.
Phyll I gave up on Grey's Anatomy Shonda Rhimes put everyone through torture and that turned me off the show.
This season's episodes on Castle were hit & miss, not really up to par. The writers had rouble w/ how will this work.
I'll continue tuning in.

Oh I'll continue to watch. It's one of my favorite shows. They do seem to have trouble once they get
characters together to deal with those relationships. Bones is having a big issue with that and constantly
tearing them apart in order to bring them back together. NCIS never can seem to know what to do with
Tony and Ziva. The Closer did a good job but very few do.
