Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

I guess if you are a shapeshifter and you are not hung like a horse and wanna be... well...
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

Every cloud has a silver lining?
And amnesia Eric is just too adorable.  "Are you mine?"  "No"  "Would you like to be mine?"
While I still enjoy watching it, I am not that excited to see the new episodes as soon as they are on. Something is missing.

I am living vicariously thru this thread and recaps from hbo.com. I'm also watching Six Feet Under so that's enough Alan Ball drama for the moment!  :seesaw:

Kind of like Dexter after John Lithgow, it is bound to be a letdown.

Inside the Episodes are pretty good. I cannot beLIEVE what is going on with Jason. And I even previously read his backstory (musta forgot). That is some MESSED UP gao se. The new Eric is kinda interesting but it is SO not going to last...  Funny scene with Sookie and Eric
when she says, "You just killed my fairy godmother!" Eric smiles innocently and says, "Sorry."
And poor Pam! I do not agree with Alan Ball who was saying it was funny what was happening to Pam (he said "funny but terrifying"). Did he SEE the look on Lafayette's face?! That was the worst.

Fiona Shaw is as good as Michelle Forbes was...great addition to the cast.

Are you dissing my girl Julia Stiles?

j/k I haven't watched S5 ~ not sure if I'm going to, as much as I like Julia. How can it be better than seasons 1-4.

S5 was a cleansing of the palate.

OK, I watched True Blood via hbo.com and recaps and inside the episode's this season cause I don't have access to HBO, which wasn't a bad way to watch. I think for the most part, TB has gotten stupid but it has its moments. I can say the same of Ball's other show, Six Feet Under, whose fourth season has some of THE MOST STUPID INSENSITIVE CHARACTER UN-BUILDING I have ever seen. I'd almost consider dropping it as it's filled with the unnecessary "I have to make a statement here" social commentary and will dig at the Bush Administration every other episode. I just wish I didn't like watching the actors so much.

I guess that would be the same for TB. I wasn't completely shocked at what happened at the end of this year's finale ~ I loooooooooved seeing the graveyard "come alive" including
seeing Gran again ~ but sad for Sookie and Lafayette as they have both lost someone dear to them (for Laffy, both of them). You know how at the end of season 3 they causally mention that the new waitress is a Wiccan and the theme of this season was Witches?
And you know how Terry's friend shows up and Terry says "I thought you were dead!"

The next season will deal with the undead. Not the flesh-eating type, but dead folk walking around.
Tara may not be as dead as she appears
.
