Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

A nice Coyote photo from a friend.

Love hearing coyotes sing, almost as much as train whistles late in the evening... both bring back memories of my childhood.

They live on the golf course behind my house. They come up in my yard and chase rabbits at about three am.

We used to have the same problem with the coyotes hunting in the creek bed in the wee hours of the morning. Of course, my dog would go crazy and the combination was not as restful as I would remember from childhood... I think I loved hearing them from waaaaaay away *G

Bits of bunny fluff is all over the back yard.

Ours were hunting squirrels, cats... I think. We never were greeted by the bits, thank goodness.

Finished "Moon Called". It was pretty good. I was hoping for more of an action filled werewolf fight at the end though.
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

Darn... me, too.

Anyone read her Alpha and Omega series? What did you think (compared to Mercy)?

Just picked up the first book... I will let you know. I've read some of her other books and have been impressed by every single one.

I loved Alpha and Omega. In Cry Wolf, most of it takes place in Montana in the Marrok's pack. I find Charles to be amusing I guess because his visits to his brother, Samuel in the Mercy books. It also takes place (mostly) in the Cabinet Mountains.

It is very good. Anna is very different than Mercy, but she can kick ass when she needs to.  I love the glimpses that we find out about Bran. (The Marrok).

BTW..I just finished Bone Crossed and it is reallly really good.

Just finished "Blood Bound". Very good, she can write "the scary" very well! The scene where Littleton is outside Mercy's trailer is just creepy! It actually gave me goosebumps.
