Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

I didn't see a thread started.

"Chuck Versus Tom Sawyer."

That song was MADE for video gaming before video games were even mainstream.

I don't think there's a guy on this PLANET who doesn't love that song.
Good ep. It's nice that Chuck finally has a degree. It's the least the CIA could do since Bryce "messed things up" for him.
Guy, hell, I love RUSH!  Tom Sawyer and Red Barchetta are my faves!  Big sisters ROCK!!

I like "The Spirit of Radio," "Limelight," and "thyme Stand Still," Limelight being my fave.

Just to show you all how old I really am...I don't even know those songs...or if I do, I don't recognise them by name.

No way dude!!!! Rush is an OLD band... Formed in '68, became a sensation in '74, release over 25 albums (studio+live) between '74-'07... One of the best things to come out of Canada that isn't s sexy woman. ;)

Some of my favorite Rush songs...

Finding My Way
Closer to the Heart
The Spirit of Radio
Working Man
A Passage to Bangkok
2112: Overture/The Temples of Syrinx
Freewill
Tom Sawyer

And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

I too love the way this show is getting fleshed out. Really great episode and yet being a Mom and finding out he
only had 12 credits to do before getting his degree you want to just smack him.  Can you tell I've been
there done that. :) My oldest daughter didn't finish her degree until 2 weeks before she had her 2nd baby which was
a decade ago but several years after college. I'm sure the poor teacher that gave her that final test was really sweating
it that  she would make it through since my daughter was extremely large with that baby. She said when she came in
to take the test that he had a horrified look on his face.

lol...that's hilarious! I can just see him stamping a big PASS on her belly and saying, 'Congrats...TWICE!'.  :haha:

I couldn't believe she finally decided to finish that Latin credit then but I guess it was the best time for her since two
little ones was going to take a lot of time. She said the look on his face was so priceless that it was all she could do
not to give a few moans while she was taking the test.  :haha:

Me too and apparently it was my era. I guess I was too busy with little ones then.

huh. I guess I will have to look for the songs to give a listen...see if they are familiar. I know there are alot of songs I like that I'm not aware of the artist.

In High School I was all about the 'crush' of Donny Osmond, the theatrical/artist 'look' of Kiss and Alice Cooper, the romantic lyrics of Elton John and Barry Manilow....

Thanks!

But, didn't ring any bells...
