I just hope the audio came out okay... I doubt it did...

3 years ago, my fave cd was Two Suns from Bat For Lashes... And I saw her in NYC and shook her hand...

Last year, my fave cd was from Sufjan Stevens and I saw him in Brooklyn and shook his hand...

So far this year, my fave cd is Something by Chairlift and I just saw them in NYC and shook the hand of both main people in the band, Patrick and Caroline...

I wonder how many bands have been brought to national attention because their song got used in a commercial? I remember reading an op-ed a few years back by some local Seattle band that refused to sell out and fall into the "trap of commercialism"  and they were ranting  about another local band ended up getting the gig and making a boat load of money. Sounded like sour grapes.

Chairlift seemed perfectly happy with having their song in a commercial... unlike most of their fellow hipster bands...

it was hard enough following Caroline around while zooming to and fro without having to worry about a zoom recorder... plus i've listened to some youtube vids featuring audio from those recorders and i don't like the sound of them... i guess i'm just not supposed to record loud rock shows...
