Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

from Norway...

Lene Marlin - Unforgivable Sinner

Lene Marlin - Sorry Acoustic

she was being played on every Mtv station across Europe when i went a bunch of years ago...

a few more songs that i remember being played a lot in Europe:

Guano Apes-Open Your Eyes

Piotta - Super Cafone

as far as i was able to make out: this one seems like it was some leftist protest song against the Iraq war and maybe America? all i know for sure is that my sisters and I found the long-haired guy to be amusing:

Ligabue, Giovanotti, Pelù "Il mio nome è mai più"

i think it's sung by 3 famous European singers who joined forces to righteously oppose the Amerikan war machine... or something... or maybe i have it all wrong...

i just looked it up... and i found this:

================
That is an Italian Peace Song. Jovanotti Pelù e Ligabue togethe versus the war in Kosovo and NATO intervet, but also versus the war in Iraq of some time before - '91

Literally translated that verse says:

There was a time, an airplane

There was a time, an American serviceman

There was a time, the game of a child.

More symbolically it is implying that war becomes a game for our young (and often immature in other ways) soldiers.

Spooky

I like the camera moves and editing in Sorry Acoustic. Good song too.
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.
