Could be interesting.
H/t Meagan. B&C is being released as a web series, with episodes one and two dropping on Friday, Nov. 9th. Hopefully it won't be like H+ where they release twenty three-minute episodes over ten weeks. ;)

40 one minute eps over 20 weeks would be MUCH better.

I really can't wait. I love the world of BSG. :squee:
I don't know if anyone else watched Caprica and liked it but I thought is was great. And the BSG music is some of my all-time favorite.
So I started watching the first eppy and was getting really into it when I got the notification that I'd already used 90% of my data!! *cries*
We haven't had cable or internet for so long now that we've gotten used to it and have been dragging our feet getting it setup again...
But I swear... My husband is getting it setup as we speak, 'cause nothing gets between me and my BSG.

Charter's data limit for my plan is 500GB. The way it has been explained to me, if you go over two months in a row they send you a letter and tell you to slow down. Get two letters twice in a row in any six month period and they can cut your service off.
I've rarely used less than a terabyte a month and frequently hit 2 or more terabytes.

I think Verizon would require our first born for that much data...

First episode was pretty good .
One main gripe ( and it applies to all space shows ) those ships are too close together .
Good, but too short.

B&C seems to be going in the opposite way of H+ in that they've combined episodes 3 and 4 into a single one. Haven't watched it yet myself, but getting ready to do so. Also, MachinimaPrime says in the comments:
Hey everyone, executive producer David Eick will be joining us on the comments at 1pm Pacific, 4pm Eastern, answering your questions! So make them good, godsdammit.

10-15 minutes is perfect for this kind of stuff. I never could watch the mini-webisodes that were like 2 minutes long. WTF?
And I feel the dumbness, but I never associated Adama's Husker call sign with Caprica.

I had read that the intention was to make it like serials of yore, such as
Flash Gordon and
Buck Rogers: Short and end with a cliffhanger.
So a friend of mine who was a huge fan of BSG ( old and new ) until the last half hour of the finale ( he swore to never watch BSG or any R Moore series ever again ) saw ep1 and is now frothing at its awesomeness .
He's even decided to break out the series and watch it again .....
:headbang:
Eep. The Thanksgiving Holiday threw me off my game here.
I haven't yet watched these, but since Pearl hasn't seen any of them maybe we'll sit down tonight and do so. Should be around seventy-eighty minutes or so of entertainment?
Here's the full series so far:
