This is mostly for Sara, but I'm sure there must be other Farscape fans here on the board... :D
During the Boom! panel at Comic Con in San Diego it was confirmed that Rockne O'Bannon, the creator of Farscape, will write the comic book adaptation that was announced by Boom! earlier this year. In the video of O'Bannon that was shown during the panel he mentions that the comic will be essentially season five of the series. The article also mentions several other forthcoming comics including Eureka! and a license with Disney that includes several Pixar properties and the Muppets.

Farscape continues...
It'll be public when Diamond's Previews hits comic shops tomorrow anyhow, so I may as well talk openly about it:
I'm scripting the upcoming Farscape comic book miniseries from BOOM! Studios, from a detailed plot by series creator Rockne S. O'Bannon. The series, which was announced at Comic-Con, as was Rockne's involvement, will pick up where The Peacekeeper Wars left off, and see Moya's crew head to Hyneria to try to get Rygel his throne back.
The comic will also be consistent with the upcoming Farscape webisodes that will be on SciFi.com.
I gotta tell you, it's an absolute thrill to be writing Farscape again, and doing it with Rockne makes it even thrillier (I just made that word up). We're hoping this is the first of many miniseries.
Issue #1 of the miniseries (the title hasn't been finalized yet) will be released in November, with all four issues coming out monthly, and a trade paperback coming likely next spring. The art will be by newcomer (and huge Farscape fan) Tommy Patterson. "
More later.........
Update!
KRAD's Inaccurate Guide to Life - Farscape comic interview with Rockne S. O'Bannon--plus art!
Comic Book Resources did an interview with Farscape creator Rockne S. O'Bannon about the upcoming comic book he and I are writing. For reasons passing understanding, he actually said nice things about me (without me having to pay him, or anything!), and the article also has the text-free artwork for two of the three covers for issue #2 (the third will be a photo cover, probably of Rygel, but I don't know for sure). The Crichton, Aeryn, and kid cover is by my old buddy Dennis Calero, and the Rygel, Jothee, and Chiana cover is by Joe Corroney.

Watched the last 3 eps yesterday, and cried like a freakin' baby at the end. D'Argo's wailing tears my heart up every time.
I'm on part 2 of The Peacekeeper Wars. Couldn't sleep last night.
Thanks for the info!
Most welcome m'dear!
Hope you get some sleep soon. Insomnia sucks.
