I might have told this before.
I literally bumped into Chris while walking in downtown Seattle many years ago. I turn a corner and my shoulder collided some guys shoulder. I looked at him and said sorry at the exact same time he did. I recognized him right away and said something like, "Chris, right?". I shook his hand and said I was a fan or something. Seemed like a nice guy. Love his voice.

David Cook, winner of Idol S7, sang Cornell's version of "Billie Jean" for Michael Jackson week. Between that performance and Beatles week, Randy Jackson said he could win the whole thing.
Awesome, awesome cover.
I have "Can't Change Me" on my music flash drive which I love love love — "Sunshower" from the Great Expectations soundtrack is good too.

This whole community of artists and family members have got to be devastated. I can't make sense of it, it just doesn't make sense. To top it all off, he sang "In My Time of Dying" as the last song. It was covered by many including Dylan and Led Zeppelin most famously, but it was a gospel song recorded in 1926-27. It's a "Jesus, deliver me" song.
Crazy how in a million people you bump shoulders into Cornell.
Crap, Sunshower segued into Can't Change Me automatically. :'(
On my drive in, Sirius XM had already started making the RIP message on its rock channels. I listened to a few songs, but the one that kinda haunted me was "Everybody Hurts." I didn't even hear the whole thing, just the end. Weird.
