Title: Donna Summer
Post by: Spooky on May 17, 2012, 09:29:16 AM
R.I.P.

On the radio - Donna Summer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXewXKFmBn0#)

When I was 11 or 12, and lived in California, I used to baby sit for David Garibaldi and he was Donna's drummer from time to time (he also drummed for Earth Wind and Fire). When I would babysit his daughter, he would be there but in his drum room practicing for hours and hours. His wife and my mom would be enjoying a girls night out.

Donna Summer Last Dance (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cPIT_T3mYU#)    :headbang:

Donna Summer Mac Athur Park (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfL7Gk7Fpes#)

I love her voice so much. Such range to her voice and spunky, too. She can sing about that cake in the rain as long as she wants.

from the comments

"Dim all the lights the Queen of Disco has died. Heaven knows you will always be Hot stuff and the baddest of all girls. So let's all have one more Last dance in Mac Arthur park. Good bye Donna Rest in Peace."
