Doesn't have Adam listed as appearing though. :(
Jealous Cali gets to have ALL the fun!
Yeah, but as big as Cali is, even when you live here it's often too far away!
Heck I had to laugh the last time we went to the Paley back in March (Ewok's birthday, she got to see Adam again)...we were down South of the event, and it took us THREE hours to get to it!! A 45 mile drive!! What's funny is, if we leave from our HOUSE and go South to the Hollywood area, we can get there in just over 3 hours!
Once you are entrenched in that I-5 traffic between Burbank and Disneyland...you are STUCK!! No wonder they still have dinosaurs in the La Brea tar pits! :loloeo:
Dangit! I just heard that Adam WAS at the Paley Center event! I sure wish he'd let at least some of the fans know his appearances...we'd pack the house!

Probably why he didn't let any of us know... he seemed very uneasy about the browncoat love at ComicCon.

Yes, I picked that up on the video I saw. He was embarrassed and the other cast members from Chuck were smiling
in a kind of "Here we go again" way. :)
I think those green shirts on a cast member or two represented a little jealousy.

Zack is very touchy about Adam's popularity & I've watched Adam draw back to focus the attention on Zack instead of himself. At ComicCon the fans were very respectful of the fact that it was a CHUCK panel and not Firefly. When the first question was directed at the writer, you could see him visibly relax.
Josh Gomez seemed to handle it a lot better.
Well, if it's a Chuck panel, people really should be asking questions about that show. >:D

I noticed, Zack doesn't hide it very well. Josh got his little comment in too when the audience burst out for Adam and
he said "Saw that comin". They really should realize that Chuck's popularity with a large audience was partly due
to Adam's popularity. Many of us staid because of other factors but he drew quite a group and they should be happy
he is a draw.

Luckily, the producer and director understand the realities and love that AB is a draw. Great that the writer is also a fan & gets a kick out of writing those wonderful one liners, that Adam delivers just right.

It's kind of a shame that he finally gets on a hit show and then he has to worry about ruffling egos, I think that was one
of the beauties of Firefly. Everyone was pretty much equal with their parts and each were special in their own way. Probably
why they stayed such good friends.

Adam did tell Summer that Firefly was special & that she wouldn't see the like anytime soon. I was surprised by Zack's attitude... he has more of a bite than I thought he would. Guess his acting really is good *G
I guess that all went over my head. I didn't see (either at the Paley last March, or Comic Con in July) Zack doing anything except acknowledging Adam has a 'following'. I see the people on T:TSCC doing the same 'Summer is a Rock Star' thing with her.
Do you really think Zack doesn't like the attention Adam gets? I mean, the bottom line is, more viewers is good for all of them, ya know?

I think he is a little jealous. His body language kind of gave it away in the vids especially that one vid he made for
the reporter when he was interviewing the cast as they came off the panel. Sarah (the actress that plays his sister)
made the comment of how much the crowd really loved Adam and he said "Yeah, maybe too much". Saying that
and the way he said it showed some green eyed envy there since it was a totally unnecessary thing to say.

I really do think that Zack was not that happy that Adam attracted such vocal fans but I do believe that he realizes now that Adam won't drive the attention away from where it should be for this show....Zack. Also, Adam said that he was happy that the Chuck cast was experiencing the "best" fans in the world. After which, Josh, said... my little porcupine (paraphrased). I thought that was so cute.

It may be still up on the Chuck site.
