Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

Bunheads is back and I am just so very happy. I really love the way they talk and it is written. There is a beat, a pace that is almost like a dance.

Anyone else watching?

TinkTanker

I've not watched this show because I have zero interest in ballet.

But five minutes in and I'm hooked. I know I'm in danger of forever losing my Man Card, but I adored Gilmore Girls and this has the same pace of witty dialogue. It is like finding an old friend.
"Is this how time normally passes? Really slowly, in the right order?"

It's like Lorelei was reincarnated in an alternate universe! :like:

It's nice here with a view of the trees
Eating with a spoon?
They don't give you knives?
'Spect you watch those trees
Blowing in the breeze
We want to see you lead a normal life

Exactly. It feels comfy & familiar like being back in a place you loved.

I asked Ann if she'd ever seen it and she said she dialed across it and knew that it existed, but beyond that...

I made her watch the first 15 minutes or so and paused it when Michelle and Hubble were hitched and headed to Paradise. I asked her if this reminded her of anything and she said yeah, Gilmore Girls. She said it had to be from the people who did Gilmore Girls. :fbshiny:

And isn't it funny how drugs and good serials have similar effects ?
