Bunheads is back and I am just so very happy. I really love the way they talk and it is written. There is a beat, a pace that is almost like a dance.

I've not watched this show because I have zero interest in ballet.

But five minutes in and I'm hooked. I know I'm in danger of forever losing my Man Card, but I adored Gilmore Girls and this has the same pace of witty dialogue. It is like finding an old friend.

I watched the first episode last night - I'll be darned if it wasn't kinda great .
And the end where the "Garp" girl tells them that Ferris Beuler's friend died ?

Exactly how I felt when I first watched it.

I asked Ann if she'd ever seen it and she said she dialed across it and knew that it existed, but beyond that...

I made her watch the first 15 minutes or so and paused it when Michelle and Hubble were hitched and headed to Paradise. I asked her if this reminded her of anything and she said yeah, Gilmore Girls. She said it had to be from the people who did Gilmore Girls.
