Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

Just won't be the same without Elvis T. Frankenkirk.

Were you being snarky or did you actually know he's a top Elvis impersonator ( I did not know this) ?

James Cawley performing as Elvis at the Great Escape

Someone on FARK nailed him with the moniker for just that reason.

Wow! He's really good!  So many of the Elvis impersonators are old and fat and ugly as homemade sin.
Granted Elvis didn't look so hot at the end but it is nice to see one that is goodlooking like Elvis once was. :)

America's self-proclaimed first Elvis impersonator.

I hear they are both still alive.
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

That's great.  It's probably a factoid I'll remember long past when I forget my own name.

I'd forgotten about this series until I read that a certain guest actor did something he hadn't in decades:  He went green.

Two episodes are up.  He (and a pretty Orion slave girl) is in the second.  I've only seen about thirty minutes, but the sets are amazing.

Saw Vic Mignogna  at back to back panels ( just him ) at Halcon
Went in knowing pretty much nothing and left a huge fan .

Haha, awesome.  Just from a few glances at YouTube vids, he seems like a nice guy and his fans love him.

I watched the second episode first.  His voice bothered me for a while, but it grew on me.  I think he's got Shattner's body language down-pat.  While I did take a break about twenty minutes or so in, overall the episode was entertaining enough to kill an hour.  Plus, as Tink might say, the actresses were enormously talented -- which didn't hurt. ;)

I was a little shocked to find whom played the Commodore.
