Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down... tells you she's hurting before she keels. Makes her a home.  -Mal

Wanna a peek at the battle of Blackwater?
I'm surprised at the lack of chain forging so far ...   ???
Me too. It would have taken much screen time to introduce the idea, but maybe showing it during the battle--and having it be more than just something the book readers were looking for-- would have put the most costly EP of the season over budget?

I don't know .
A couple lines is all it would have taken .

I think mentioning it would have forced them to show it (for the reader pleasure) and that would have cost too much, so why even mention it? That'd be my guess. Or maybe they'll mention it next ep and show it during the Blackwater ep?
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.

I'm assuming(!) it will be in there .

But forging something like that would take time and you would think they would have mentioned it in Ep 3 or 4 to make it seem more plausible. But what do I know? I'm not the show-runner of a worldwide hit TV show.

I agree .

I can envision a few different scenes where it's covered in a couple of lines .
Maybe quick shot too .
Could be Bronn has been overseeing it ?

So next week is the episode where actual events occur? Things happen?
"Is this how time normally passes? Really slowly, in the right order?"

To me, it's like they keep bunting (or get walked?) and load-up the bases.  Mighty Casey is at-bat.

I just really don't care for the pacing this year.  As I (think) I wrote in another thread, by the time they finally show a particular event it's anti-climatic.  Just look how long they've drug out the House of the Undying where the warlocks have taken Dany's babies?

I just had a strange vision of The Hound, Bronn and Jaqen H'gar as the three stooges.
And I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling.
