Or it could be that IMDB is full of horse squeeze. They are like Wiki; anyone can post anything. Hell, I remember them saying Avril Lavigne was going to play Buffy when BtVS came back for season 8.

In Game of Thrones Whyte initially played the role of the White Walker in the first episode of the series. He then took over the role of Ser Gregor Clegane for the second season when Conan Stevens was unable to reprise the role due to a scheduling clash[1].
